Until recent years Singapore was never on my pooning destinations consideration list either. I'd spent many hours looking at HKG, PI, PP, & KL before SG even was on the radar screen.
Having given up on the drug addicted scene of the DTES VCR, i found it much more straight & sober in BKK. SG takes it to another level still with the death sentence for certain substance violations.
SG, even in GL, seemed extremely safe, safer than Canada. Quite a few times i was walking around the area after midnight, checking out the nightlife, street action and 24 hour joints.
The city has some strict laws re gum, littering, jay walking, etc. Yet in Geylang i often saw evidence of such. A few times in the afternoon i even spotted guys pissing in public only metres from a main intersection full of people & cars.
The usual tourist visit to SG averages 3 to 4 days. There is not a lot to see in the small country-city & travellers are often just passing through in transit to other destinations.
Geylang is famous for its varied dishes, such as the different nationalities in adult entertainment. And its food. But aside from the Chinese grocery (Sheng Shiong chain) on the main road, i usually did my shopping at the many convenience stores there, including at least four 24 hour Seven Eleven stores, & a huge supermarket at Bugis Junction shopping mall a 10 minute cab ride (for $6 SG) from GL. BJ mall had hundreds of shops, including an Asian pharmacy chain store, Watson's, which is the equivalent of Shoppers Drug Mart or London Drugs in VCR. GL did not have any Western fast food chains like McDonald's, KFC or Burger King, & almost no Western people either.
For casino lovers, like VCR SG has only a few such dens of chance, so its not Vegas or Macau by a long shot.
I found the stunner w/i 5 minutes walk of the streets in the vid, though she is likely not in the country any more, if ever again. I imagine the turnover rate is very high, which would lead to constantly new lineups of girls. Therefore it's possible the quality could drop, although i'd think it would be good business for their handlers to bring in attractive ladies. I didn't recognize any of them from the January vid only a few weeks after i was there.
The 20 minute session with her wasn't enough, though Geylang packs so many SP's into such a tight area that one can often easily pick up another one in seconds. One could also take her again (for another 20 minutes) or book for an extended time at the beginning.
Worst case scenario it's back to the hotel for some quality wanking or save the juice & live to fight another day. The intensity of the feeling will only increase as time passes since the last time the chambers were emptied.
Re BBBJ's, in Canada they may now be a service given in the majority of sessions involving BJ's, but in super safe GL the general practice is "everything covered", no kissing, no DATY, etc. Thankfully there are exceptions & these can be found given the hours to mine them out or the luck of the draw.
On a site called Sammyboy they have had reviews of individual girls at specific addresses in GL, with prices, descriptions of their looks, nationality, time limits & what each one had on her menu (e.g. "frenching"). BTW when i was in SG last year a loonie went as high as about $1.18 to 1.20 SG, but more recently i've seen it drop to as low as 1.13 & being presently 1.15. So 50 SG is now about 43.4 CDN and 39.9 USD.
Long BJs are a thing of the past as the pecker head is worn & getting old. Though FS, about twice a week for an hour or two, is still on the agenda, especially with simultaneous DFK. It seems the little head can handle that better than oral. Even with autoeroticism i tend to only use the shaft.
As i understand it the aforementioned "houses" ladies are almost exclusively from PRC or Siam. They get regular health checks for STIs & are permitted to work in SG. The FL can be illegal in the sense that they may have no working permit & have entered the city as tourists.
While prostitution is legal in SG, soliciting is not. But like in BKK there are no undercover stings of johns such as with LE pretending to be SP's as in the case of VCR. In fact word is that these girls are allowed into SG because that's what foreigners want. LE does probe the area, though from what i've heard they may often be looking for illegal gambling, contraband, etc, rather than FLs. When i've seen street girls running away, or the streets empty of them during prime time evening hours, i assume the spotters have alerted them to seeing LE nearby. Though at times the LE in the area are not in uniform.
A TG from BKK i met in SG said guys from Bangladesh could hump TGs in her group for $25 SG. In BKK FLs typicly get at least 1000 baht ST, which is considerably more, & probably would not have to deal with the conditions she puts up with in SG. But the advantage of SG may be that it offers her an assembly line of hordes of customers who are finished relatively quickly, whereas in BKK ladies may go days without a client & one guy might take up hours of her time. That may explain why to fuck the same girl in SG could be cheaper than banging her in her own country.
If that's all a guy needs, quick releases, it's cheap. Instead of 200 USD at Orchard Towers, a guy may be able to get sex for a mere $25 SG in Geylang. If the girl turns out to be a WOT, he can try another one & be out only 20 USD rather than 10 times that amount.
But as one would expect, on an hourly cost basis first world SG becomes more expensive relative to 3rd world SEA. What draws me to consider SG are other things related to it being a first world English language country rather than 3rd world, besides that i have to go somewhere else besides BKK for half the year, as i cannot stay in BKK more than 182 days a year. Returning to live in Canada for half of each year would probably be more expensive than SG, let alone elsewhere in SEA.
If i pay $100 SG (85 CDN, 2465 baht) for an hour ($25 SG x 4 sessions X 15 min, or $50 X 2 sessions X 30 min ea) with a GL SP w everything on the menu, then i'm not spending much more than i do in BKK. Likewise if its with a very hot girl in GL at that price, but with restrictions. Although i don't usually tip the girls [or anyone] in SG, while in BKK regularly give them [& others] way more than i have to. That lack of tipping somewhat mitigates the high costs of SG relative to BKK or elsewhere in SEA.
Walking around GL you'll see hundreds of the subcontinental guys in the FL areas eye balling them. Many of them just stand there in a crowd & stare at the ladies stationed on the lorongs & main road. I think most of them may be cheap labourers visiting SG on temporary work permits. The streets of Geylang are also filled with hundreds of Chinese Singaporeans. It is rare to see a caucasian Westerner.
Of the nationalities of P4P ladies in GL, the vast majority of PRC & VN seem to speak no English, though both may speak Chinese. The Thai & Indonesians I interviewed were more proficient in English, while the 2 local SG ladies were both fluent in our tongue. In BKK TGs i've spent time with can vary from speaking not a word to being very conversant in the lingo, but "boom boom", "smoke" (BJ) & "joop joop" (kiss) are seldom not known.
In GL, aside from the FL, the best budget option i know of is the $50 SG cat houses with Thai ladies. You might see a lineup once inside, but i doubt there will be much if any opportunity to interview them like you would a bargirl in AC, Pattaya or PP.
My guess is there would be a better chance to chat with one standing in a street walker lineup (with translation from her handler if needed & available), a FL sitting at the dining tables on Geylang Rd or walking on the main drag. They make eye contact and/or send signals if they are available & interested in your "company". At times the SWs will reach out their hand to a potential client, as seen in the vid shot by a white guy, and even latch onto your arm with it, if they want you.
One perceived to be a Western white man will often be charged double the local rate, e.g. $50 instead of $25. However if he resembles the locals, such as a Canadian of EI descent might, then he might easily be mistaken for a local. The same might apply to any white Westerner with a bit of a sun tanned look. Appearing as the locals do in dress & speech or mingling with them might also help as regards getting the local rate, as the girls may then not be able to distinguish such a guy from a local. It may also be that some working ladies just charge the local rate to everyone in order to get business.
The double rate system was, i've read, originally based on the premise that Westerners take longer to finish. So, it has been argued, if you are charged double you should have the right to have a session that is twice as long as locals get. If one OKT (handler/pimp) refuses a request for a double session, maybe the next will one will accept the offer. IME it appears that some OKT already operate in agreement with this policy.
Re hotels my impressions from hundreds of hours spent reading TA hotel reviews for SG & HKG is that they are very much the same value wise. For similar quality hotel rooms in HN, BKK & SG, it was about 20 USD/day in HN, 2x as much in BKK & 5X in SG. Not only did VN offer way more value in a hotel room, the customer service of top rated 2-3 star hotels seems to be consistently rated by a large number of visitors as amongst the finest on the planet.
On the plus side, GL offers a sizeable number of hot easily obtainable ladies from a variety of nations conveniently congregated in a small area. One can pay budget prices (from $25 SG) for a quick no nonsense shag to mid range prices (up to $150 SG) for an hour of pampering and pumping.
The abundance of white skinned ladies and/or big knockers is another personal drawing card as it offers something appealing that, while available in BKK, is not normally seen in my preferred easily accessible haunting grounds there.
Another plus to GL was the PRC service experience, something i enjoyed & different from that of TGs in LOS. This often included items such as being undressed, ordered to do things, cat baths, big boobs massage, & funny sexy talk in what, i presume, was mandarin.
It has been claimed that the Chinese think everyone in the world speaks & understands their language, so i wonder if they thought i could understand what they were saying. I pretended that i could & kept nodding in agreement, no matter what the girls said.
During one session a young busty PRC cutey kept saying to me the word "quickly", the only English word she used & possibly knew. I just nodded or said ok & kept banging her for a half hour. She probably thought the old guy was having a hard time to finish when in fact I could have done so within 5 minutes. But that would have been no fun. Damage was $50 SG, everything covered.
TGs in BKK tend to be more shy & may expect you to place your order as to what you want & tell them what to do. The PRCs were more like women in black cat woman outfits & a little whip.
I found the ladies' Mandarin & VN languages were pleasant to listen to, like a song. But the Japanese & South Asian lingo often got a laugh out of me, especially when they spoke very fast.
Other plusses to choosing first world SG included its ultra safety with no snow or cold, world class medical care, excellent shopping, good Western food options, English widely spoken & written, & mostly everything in GL being similarly cheap to things i'd buy in BKK.
For those interested in trying SP's from China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, PI & South Asia, etc, but not comfortable travelling to one or more of those countries, SG may be the answer.
On the negative side, for those interested in a LT or GFE paradise like PI or one even up to Siam standards, Geylang is more like a quickie factory. Unless you hit up the higher end expensive FL market in SG, like Orchard Towers, which goes by the nickname "Four Floors of Whores". Unlike in GL, there you can find PI SP's. They have been reported to be available from anywhere from 100-500 SG.
Much better value for hotels is found in AC or elsewhere in SEA than GL or SG. It won't make me happy to pay an arm & a leg ($3000/mo cdn) for the type of room i'm used to, as it would cost up to 80% less elsewhere in SEA. Yet worse, it wouldn't even be in Geylang. The alternative is a claustrophobic (10-14 sq m) room in GL starting at around 1350/mo (45/day). Or, again outside the RLD, a hostel (20/day?) in Chinatown, Little India, etc.
Presently i am weighing my options re future SEA destinations. There is a lot to consider.
For now I'm in BKK & plan to be in VN for the world cup. Then we'll see where life, destiny and the sex tourist gods lead us.
