I've seen 2 sp since my last test which was last sept... Both of which gave and received oral bare...

First sp in June and last so 3 weeks ago... Today I got this weird red bump in my mouth which doesn't hurt or look like a chancre wanted to take a pic of it but after driving home (20 min) it went away... Almost as if it's not there at all I can kinda still feel a small bump but barely enough to confirm and definitely can't see it... Should I be worried at all?

Actually yesterday it turned into a white dot and today it disappeared... Could I have just bit myself or food allergies?

Hi palmmaster

It is really difficult to diagnose conditions over the internet as we would need to look at it as well as do some tests. What I can do is give you some suggestions on what it could be and what to do next.

It does not sound like the typical symptom of a sexually transmitted infection (STI) from what you have described, mainly with how quickly it came and went .

Getting symptoms in the mouth can be a difficult one as there are many different things that can cause irritation to the mouth e.g. Injury from eating food, canker sores etc.

Given that there is a risk with unprotected oral I would suggest going in for a STI test. Syphilis and herpes are the two STI that would cause sore's in the mouth. Remember that most STI do not show symptoms so we recommend regular testing even if you feel fine.

Here is a link to the tests we recommend.

go and get tested

I will not get into details but lets say i did something of a sexual nature when I was in my teens. Not with a SP that made me afraid of having aids. My family was very religious and i did not have access to the internet . The guilt eventually made me tell my very religious family what I had done and i was told not to get tested " because you don't want the government to have that sort of information on file on you ." Honestly if I had known where the testing center was .I would have gone in got tested and kept my mouth shut and avoided my parents knowing about my personal sex life and having to keep secrets.

sounds like a case of guilt to me go get tested they keep it privet for you and you will sleep better at night . just my opinion .
