recommendations on good massuse

I am wondering if anyone can recommend a massuse that is reasonably priced and works in Vancouver/Richmond region.

No not looking for rub and tug lol...though if really good massuse at such a place where I can opt out of "happy ending"..I be cool with that too

I can give you the name of a registered RMT but if you pulled any funny stuff, she would bounce you out of their clinic in a heartbeat. Gotta keep that stuff separate IMHO.

Funny you should mention this, but, I'm kind of surprised how many women who offer massages don't advertise they are or don't become an RMT.

1) Tuition ranges between $23,600 and $29,974 (2010).
2) Complete the accredited massage therapy program. You need to have 3,000 hours of massage therapy training before taking the certification examination.
3) In order to maintain an active status with The College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia you will need to purchase liability insurance and pay yearly dues in the amount of $320 (2010)

Sounds simple enough, what could be holding them back?

Ah, it's all part of their accreditation in that they are to be professional with all clients. I do not know for certain but whenever I have gone for a massage at my clinic, i have been asked to place the palms of my hands underneath my hips.

Try it on for size yourself and see what sort of response you get. I am pretty certain the two massage therapists I have seen would bounce my ass to the curb. You may have something that would entice them to think about it first

Cami is affiliated with the Perb association, and from what I've heard about her service, she will NEVER lose her accreditation with this association...:nod:

RMT rates - 80-100, at most 120 per hour. Are you saying you have rates that low? I didn't see that option on your ads or site. lol

To echo the points made by others, the association that governs massage therapy really doesn't appreciate any funny business. I know a provider in another province who is also an RMT who has made it very clear to me that if the lines blurred between her two jobs, she'd get fired in a heartbeat and lose her accreditation. She's UTR as a provider as a result, very picky about who she she sees so her two lives don't collide by accident.

The thing is, anyone can get trained and certified, but whether or not they then go further and become registered and insured is another step. And yes, during my training, they were very clear that we were expected to stay away from 'the naughty bits'!
