While I tend to gravitate toward music with a definite beat for the gym, I’d love to experience more musical beauty from around the world (whether in English or not). It could be vocal abilities, different instruments, etc. Anything that moves you, regardless of what that looks like. 💃

My most recent favorites:
  • From the East - Coffeeshop, Reapecks, Blvkstn
  • Mala (Sped Up) - DJ KridUNG
  • Nu Riddim - BROHM, Thingstad

The "Bach Chaconne" (Partita for Violin No. 2, BWV 1004) composed for the Violin, but it is sublime on Guitar. There are many recordings. In particular, the section starting at the 08:20 mark. Headphones on, room dark, eyes closed.
Johann Sebastian Bach - Chaconne BWV 1004, by Sanel Redzic - classical guitar - YouTube
...pay attention to the accolades on this piece:

Bach and Beethoven, generally. Too many to mention. The Bach Goldberg variations by Glenn Gould, 1981, The Brandenburg Concertos, The English and French Suites, The Cello suite, Various violin concertos, Concerto for Oboe d'Amore (Oboe of Love). Wow! you can spend a liftime exploring Bach! Vivaldi, Handel. Beethoven 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th symphonies. The Beethoven Piano Sonatas, the 4th and 5th Piano Concertos. Beethoven Violin Concerto. The Brahms piano concertos. The Rachmaninov piano concerto (The Rach 2). Mendelson Violin Concerto, the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. Copland, Fanfare for the Common Man.

Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Allan Parsons, The Who, Elton John (The early Stuff), Earth Wind and Fire, Early Chaka Kahn, Funk and Soul Generally, Modern Jazz Quartet, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Big Band Stuff generally. Gordon Lightfoot (earlier stuff),

Wow! Too much good music.

I enjoy music of every genre.

But some like rap and country only have a few I enjoy. Bits and pieces of everything else.

My preferences are punk, ska, and classical.

Jethro Tull, Rush, The Clash, Mozart, and Vivaldi are my personal favorites.

I have been fortunate enough to attend a few VSO offerings. The Ode to Vienna on New Year's Day was bloody amazing!

Still lost in the '60s
"Daring Night" by Van Morrison is one of the best songs I've heard about sexual intercourse at night under the stars.
