My water pressure regulator broke last night. My main shut off valve is the old turnstyle type (built in 1967) and also needs to be replaced as the seal isn't airtight. Need a competent independant plumber or plumbing repair company to:
A) Use thier key to shut off the city main line intake
B) Replace house main shut off valve with a modern shut off turn switch
C) Solder off the regulator (3/4 -> 1/2 inch) and replace with a modern one, resoldering on the pipes. (old regulator is flush against the foundation wall and the builder twisted on end caps on each end of the regulator before soldering on to end pipes)
D) Reasonable rates
If you've had some caliber good work done, list me sone recommendations. Thanks.
