To be tax deductible there must be a business purpose else it is a personal expense.

So explain your thinking on this

Thank you visiting but that girl won't do,

And stella hardon here is. my logic, it may be flawed and high unethical but....

I am trying to sign a client for some time, he is single but incredibly unsuccessful with women, he is close to 26 and I'm assuming he is still a virgin. However I need him as he has hundreds of millions in assets and if I can sign him, that means I can retire in the near future.
Logically I was thinking that if an escort does give a receipt it would presumably be for a massage or spa company, and I could definitely write that off as an expense.
As for the reason for wanting to write it off. Any women I bring to him in lounges become repulsed withing minutes. I would need him to be in the blue about the girl being an escort , and that process may take a weekend or longer, so if I'm going to be spending $20k+ on an escort, being able to write it off would be ideal.

Sorry for the poor grammar, writing late at night on my berry

Unbelievable...

Seriously, and I do not mean this with any malice, but if you are qualified to manage "hundreds of millions" in assets, then you damn well know the answer to this question.

Also if the client is that big of a deal I’m sure you could forgo the tax writeoff of this one purchase.

1) He is probably not a virgin, but he has poor luck with ladies
2) He is a cheap bastard so he will never spend money on ladies, and he's not a billionaire, net worth closer to 330 mil
3) It was just a question, I'm going to spend this much anyways. I just thought I could ask a simple question on this review board without having people throw in their own useless comments.

The tax department does not accept claims for many types of entertainment. Most businesses who prepare their taxes properly just eat the expenses as a cost of doing business.

Of course you could pay the escort as a outside sales consultant, write her a cheque and write it off that way. It would be her requirement to claim the business income. Wouldn't be the first 'sales consultant' to 'get on their knees' or 'bend over' to get the business:)

Some of the one with "legitimate" businesses do. They usually write it off (from what I've seen) as a medical expenses/therapy. Makes me roll my eyes. I hate the whole tax receipt thing as much as SPs who don't pay taxes at all. Screw everyone BUT the government. Pay your taxes, don't commit fraud, and go on with your day.

Escorting will never be seen as a legitimate profession until people stop committing multiple types of tax fraud.
so you like the gov't and taxes?

Al Capone was convicted for not paying income taxes. All of his other alleged activities were never proven in a court of law.

I pay taxes on my income, yes. Why wouldn't I?
Kudos to you Missy M, but the SPs I know don't claim their full income because it tips off the government that they are prostitutes. Mind you, saving tens of thousand of dollars probably doesn't hurt the rationalization process either.
