I tried desperately to hook up with Layla while she claimed to be in Nanaimo till October 22nd. She needed references but mine are from out east and older acquaintances so I doubt she would be able to confirm me but I gave her a list anyway.

I received a very kurt response today that she is not coming to Nanaimo. Sort of odd?

Oh well, maybe another time.

Yes references. Sp's you have seen before only works if they know each other. Given Layla Gold's responses to me, I doubt she would have known any of mine.

Ahhh a reputable reference is not necessarily someone I know personally, but someone who is known To be reliable and has a good reputation.

As for my Kurt response, I clearly had a lot of other things going on to have to cancel my trip. I indicated I would. S postponed arriving to Nanaimo, and never said I was in Nanaimo. So receiving 4 messages requesting to book that same night was also a bit.... odd

Just for clarification, it shows how much I was trying to book. That should be a compliment.

But alas, advertising you will be somewhere and actually agreeing to a same day 6pm booking if one had a reputable reference suggests you were in Nanaimo.

I sought an alternative option and I am so pleased to review it in another post.
