SCAM. Texts back forth congenially until I meet her at her high rise apartment. Talks about her dog recently getting pregnant as we ride elevator up. In her nice big suite, she shows me to the couch and says money up front... then asks me what color lingerie I prefer, and gives options. Goes into her room and shuts the door as I sit watching the big screen. After about 2 mins this guy walks in and asks why I'm in his girlfriend's apartment. I'm in a haze as I shift my paradigm to this new situation... I slowly get up without saying anything and stare at him. He keeps on muttering about how I know his gf. He says and gestures to me to get out. I say to him that he should talk to her as she has an ad. He acts surprised and I start to smell bullshit. As I stand beside my boots. His leg starts to shake as I stare him down and think about beating his ass. Then he gets on the phone and says...u guys better get down here from upstairs now. I rethink, as I'm unsure how many there will be and leave, but shoot him one more look. I told him he better watch his back. Damn that really sucks man. You did the right thing though, if you had taken that shot at him, it could have ended badly for you (assault charges etc etc), so good on you. He’ll get what’s coming to him one day....play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Judging by the body language you say he exuded, he won’t be playing these games very long. Maybe you scared the sense into him, the ad is down.
Side note: why can’t we have a sticky in the 411 for known local scammers? I realize the ph # will likely change a lot with these folks but the description can usually give enough clue as to who you’re dealing with
