Rating the threads

How come people here don't seem to rate the threads?
It would be a good way to identify the really interesting ones, especially here in the lounge where there are so many posted every day.

Looks: 1 ... very boring, no pics or graphics or even a poll.

Attitude: 2 ... no jokes, funny stories or even some insight into why we should do as you ask ... somewhat pretentious and assuming.

Service: 1 ... this thread isn't doing much for me ... gotten more out of other useless threads ...

Repeat? not here ...

Good idea. Experienced posters at larger boards, such as Automotive, Travel or others are more diligent, and many times more prolific than here. This business is "shadier" shall we say?, so they tend to ignore some of the other features available to them. I've seen some posters elsewhere whose contributions number in the 30,000+. Moderators are usually more "out-in-the-open" as it were, and even posters themselves are rated.

Service: Rating threads will save you time looking for the good ones.

I usually post in the "under-dog" thread. Sometimes posting in a thread that already has like 40 responses, your post just gets lost in the sea of responses.

Speaking for myself I hardly ever sit there and read through 2 pages of thread from start to finish.
