I don't think she asked for help. As I recall, she posted about what happened to her, and some folks then asked about how they could help. Then, as so often happens on PERB, the whole discussion spun off in unfortunate directions.

This topic has outlasted its useful life on perb. Those who believe her and want to help her are free to do so. Those who don't believe her surely have better things to do than piss away their time casting aspersions on her.

That's Not The Whole Story

FB, just to be completely accurate and honest, Nadia has NEVER asked for money.

Yes, any reasonable amount of compassion in someone would let you pull that scenario from what you've posted, but you've missed the part where she tried doing a call with a client shortly after the event, to raise the funds herself.

A lot of the ladies and pooners on this Board genuinely wanted to help, that's all. And does it really matter anymore anyway?...

If it's all a big lie, scam. Do you really think she'll be able to get away with it? Let the wheels of justice do it's thing and if it all comes apart then she'll look like a damn idiot (and so will all her supporters, me included) and never be able to work again. I'm just going to say this, usually when an incident like what Nadia claims to have happened to her comes forth to us ladies in other means like workers at PEERS or Sue (the advocate that got the Drake turned into a safe place for street workers), because they want us to be on the ALERT and vice usually contacts those people to contact us. I know lots of people in direct contact with both of those programs and NONE to MY knowledge have said anything about this incident. When Nikki was killed I knew about it before it even hit the news, when Honey was killed it was the same thing. Now when there's an alleged rapist or two on the loose, we're going to hear about it, we always do.

I'm not saying Nadia is lying, but this is the process we usually go through when something like this happens. And I also think that's where Dakota was also going with her post.

Look, I'm not saying that it's a scam or not all I'm saying is that we (all of us) are NO position at this point to start calling her out on it. It's barely been 2 weeks, none of us are able to prove this matter either way. I completely disagree how some have already deemed her a liar before knowing all the facts and evidence in this case. I feel that the only reason that nikki and honey's story made the news is because it ended in murder. Not all rape find it's way to the paper it happen too often for that. Their is an entire task force dedicated to violence against sex trade workers. I'm sure they don't divulge any and all info. of a case to the public before it's established. There is no longer an alert at this point due to the perpetrators already being apprehended, so why would the police now offer information of the case that is pending. Yes, in nikki's case they went right to the media but that was because they had no suspect and needed the public's help. Don't you find it funny how we haven't heard anything since? If it hasn't hit the headlines yet then there must be a reason for it. Maybe there's more to the story then we all don't know yet. Or maybe it is just a scam but what happen to due process…..innocent til proven guilty?

Furthermore I think it is pointless to banter back and forth about why she could be lying and vice versa because those who believe will help regardless of side views because thats what they do. Others are smart to just not input. I would bet my balls she is telling the truth about the incidents and I think the guilty parties will get what they deserve. I would be insulted if I were her at all the speculation and I hope she has good people around her these days. If its a hoax, shame on her. Plain and simple, let the laws of nature take care of it.

No where in my post did I singling you or anyone else out, I think the word that I used was "some people" leaving it a general statement.

I said there were chains of people from PEERS etc. that we DO usually hear about these things from.

No not all girls may hear about these things, but there are some of us that DO have alot of contacts to know about something like this .

And that was a point that Dakota was trying to make, those of us who have been around a long time (VETS), know a lot of people and whether it's not to be heard, it usually does end up being heard when you know the right people. Do you ever stop and think that there are some of us here that know things that you don't, because we know people that you don't?

Yes, I'm aware that there are people that know more then others. But for these agencies’ and other wise it would be a bad idea as well as career suicide not to mention unethical to alert the community with out the go ahead of vice first. In Nadia's earlier post she stated something along the lines of......she would tell us the whole story once vice gave her the go ahead. Well maybe I'm wrong but that leads me to believe that the police were tight lipped about it maybe they had a strong lead. I don't know and I can't assume that that’s what it was without the facts. But that’s all I was trying to say. As far as Dakota I only wanted to take note of the fact that she seemed so sure that her assumptions were a matter of fact. I believe what she said was "something happened but 'it' did not happen." I took that as a very strong statement to make at this time when we have no info. and had to comment on it. I’m sorry that you don't agree. And if Dakota's not shooting off then let her do something about it. Let her prove to all of us that she has friends in high places that are able to prove this to be just a scam due to Nadia financial problems. She said she does. So I'll be waiting.

I read back and yes, your right! But I'll said it once again. The police asked Nadia not to divulge the whole story til they got the suspects. Again that leads me to believe they were on to something.

True, but sps don't usually qualify for worker's comp, do they?? so when they can't work, there's no money until they get back on their feet. So back off.

Also, since this is such a risky business, why don't they all get real jobs. Of maybe they want to get killed at a gas station, like Grant, or kidnapped and assaulted like the woman at the tanning salon a couple of years ago. Robbed and threatened at the 7-11?? Attacked with a knife at the Subway?? Bank teller?

All these things have happened in the last few years in the general workplace. And although sps can expect dangerous situations, it rarely happens. Many ladies can work for years with absolutely no trouble.

I have had it with the way these threads have been handled. I am disgusted by some of the Nadia comments on the various threads. I will lock them down and read all of them. Don't be surprized if bannings are forthcoming. I am making no claim or statement as the accuracy of the situation as portrayed but will be looking more at the comments, vindictivenes and personal attacks that were made.
