Questions about what is legal?

New to this board and thought someone might be able to help me clarify what is considered to be "public". I know that communicating for the purpose of prostitution is illegal, but what is public?
Providing info on a web site? like well known acronyms such as fs, cbj, datty ect.
comunicating on a cell phone? using acronyms ect.
giving explicit info via email?

Have any idea?

At this time, internet doesn't seem to be considered a public place. So advertising on the internet and communicating via email or phone is not illegal. If you go on an outcall, and happen to meet the gentleman in the lobby (or somewhere that is not his room), make sure not to discuss anything on the elevator ride and wait until you're in the room.

Incalls are also technically not legal (keeping or working in a bawdy house), even if it's just you and even if it's your home. However you give your neighbors/strata/landlord a reason to complain (if you or your guests make it obvious by being loud or creating lots of traffic in and out of your suite), this is not something LE seems to go after. If you are discrete, there shouldn't be any problem and I wouldn't worry.

If you click here, then select "Law matters" and choose a doc format, you can get more info about this topic.
The other documents (health, security & money) are also good to have.

Hope this helps. :)
