catholic missionaries haven't done much to help the situation in africa by threatening eternal damnation for using birth control, which is apparently against the will of god, and preaching for complete abstinence outside of marriage... although apparently the new pope is more hip to the demands of the modern world. it's not exactly a simple situation.

as an sp i've had a number of clients offer everything from free rent in a bling house, as a live-in caretaker (swimming pool... tennis court... billards table... jacuzzi...), to footing the bill for all my living expenses. each of these guys have suggested being a call girl wouldn't be necessary as long as they're around but not one has changed his mind about supporting my potential when informed that i'm not interested in being dependant or making $10/hour at a dead-end job, that i'm still going to escort, which is why i consider a guy who does this to be genuine hero. because sure, he might get laid on the regular and treated well out of it, but they've taken the responsibility on themselves to provide a girl with a better future and the initiative to personally see to it that she gets there. my parents aren't paying my way. if it weren't for my sugar daddy i can't say for certain that i'd be going back to school this fall, for which he's providing the finances and encouragement, and could very well still be blowing my wad on too much coke and more expensive clothes than i need. it's easy to get sidetracked and sometimes all a lady needs to make something more of herself is a nudge in the right direction.

My post was kind of harsh and after taking the time to cool off a bit and re-read it i feel my comments about the aids situation were a bit out of line.

It never ceases to amaze me how a person or persons with a bunch of hungry kids that are living in squalor will still continue to bring more children into the world to starve.

I would think that the blame lies more with the nincompoops (spelling ?)that continue to reproduce even after watching the kids that they already have suffer on a daily basis.

Getting rid of my pet isnt going to change the fact that idiots are allowed to reproduce and do so at an alarming rate.

Another thing (then im done). Why is alot of the money that is supposed to feed hungry kids (in Canada) ending up at the bars and the bingo halls,dope dealers etc.

Is your view in support or of oppposition for large families in Africa?

Look at China, they do not have pension or social sercurity, but they a limited to 1 child per family in order to curb the economic pressures of over population.

To relate this to the original thread, the SP is broke so she tries to borrow, everyone pretty much agrees that the sucker will never get his coin back. African nations borrow money, spend all the money on those in power, never give shit to their people then hope the debt will be forgiven. Summary: Africa and whores have the same credibility.

Now, let's not call me any names. Most of the African I know are the nicest down to earth people I have ever met, but power corrupts and choose almost any country in Africa do a search and see the shit that has gone on there. (Sierro Leone, Zimbabwe, Congo, Ivory Coast, Etheopia, Sudan, etc)

My opinion stands: Make the SP complete services to you first then give her the money, if she won't trust you, don't trust her.

An sp that I'd seen an easy dozen times, asked me to stop how my way over and pay a $ on her phone bill and take it out the session fee , that was the last time I spoke to her yes I did pay the $ on her phone bill she never answered the phone and moved one eek later . bb1950, It’s not an easy decision sometimes to make. Some very good points and comments have already been made from the previous post (some are repeats here). Some questions that I think worth considering:

Why can't the person pay for their bills this time?

What has occurred or changed that necessitated this person to ask for money help now?

Do you trust this person?

Worst case scenario. Can you afford to lose the money? If not, will a lesser amount do?

Are you going to lose sleep, get stress out or worry about the money constantly afterwards?

This may or may not apply to you. Will your SO go ballistic on you when can't explain the withdrawal on the bank statement?

and last but not least, if you do not lend the money, will this person respect your decision and will this person treat you the same as before?

These are some questions, which only you can answer. I should have been a non committal fence sitting politician! LOL!

Think it over, as you have to be comfortable with your decision.

Being the kind of person who helps another sets a good example for the rest. That is really what this world needs. People learn by example you know!

Good examples of helping others:

Inviting another couple to sit at your table for 4 when its crowded at a restaurant.

Give up your patio bistro table at a cafe to an elderly couple and cop a squat on the steps instead

Get the item on a high shelf for someone short or in a chair when you see they are straining to reach it.

When getting takeout for lunch on your day off, let the person behind you with the nametag from the bank across the street cut in front of you. You have all day to nibble, they have 30 minutes to scarf down.

Help a mom who is trying to wrangle her three kids and load her groceries all at the same time.

Wait 30 seconds to hold the door for the person behind you instead of letting it close in their face. Run ahead and grab the door for someone whose arms are full.

Slow right down and give someone merging at the on ramp lots of room, better yet move into the passing lane if you can.

And so on.

Bad example of helping others:

Giving a hand out to people with nerve enough to ask for one.
