I would like to even out my tan a bit.. and I have never tried a spray tan.. does any body know a good place that will not make my skin turn an orange colour.. I am already fairly tanned.. I just want to even it out a bit.. I know there was a good place in yale town my friend used to go to but.. I ca't remember where it is.. thanks for the help :)

Spary tan is only a temporarly tan, when you go for a party or wedding....for example.
Not worth it in a longer run. Fades fast and the color doesn't look natural the next day.
I have the airbrushing machine (Iwata), I can even do it but it's pretty pointless.

That's my opinion.

You may want to do it yourself

I have personally found that the mystic tan booths and their equivilant rub off on my clothes, and still yield a slightly unnatural color.

The best self tanners I have found are the following.

CT Seven. It's a bronzer which you can find a tanning studios. It is meant to be used in conjunction with regular tanning, but even by itself it provides a good color. It's loaded with skin healthy nutrients

Proten C. Another bronzer which can be found at tanning studios. Never streaky or orange looking. Doesn't rub off on clothes. Lasts a few days.

Jan Tana. Competition color...if you want a much darker tan. It will come off on clothes up until your first shower after applying. Smells really good (apricot). I can't emphasize enough though that you need to apply it and leave it on for a few hours before taking a shower. Do NOT put on anything nice until you shower. It will wash out of clothes, but it does rub off badly.

Pro Tan. Another competition color. It gives the absolute darkest brown color. It's a terror for rubbing off on clothing until you have showered off the color. It will streak if you don't apply properly, and it does smell bad (alcohol)

If you do choose to apply your own tanner/bronzer, you just want to follow a few basic instructions.

- exfoliate your skin first
- if you have really dry patches such as elbows or knees, apply moisturizer to them first so they don't absorb a disproportionate amount of color
- apply with either latex gloves, or very thoroughly scrub your hands after application, otherwise your palms and between your fingers will have color.
- don't forget to add color to the tops of your hands afterward. Using an application sponge is the easiest way.

Airbrush Tan!

I totally rock the airbrush tan....especially when I dance cause you can wear a really wicked thong and get fucky thong lines that glow in the club (black lights)

They do a great job and have packages you can buy at Urban Tanning on Davie street which is where I go. You just can't be shy cause they are people literally spraying you. Funny cause I remember when almost all the girls at the Touch and I got addicted to Pelagia Airbrush Tan and I think that we single handedly kept that place afloat.:D

Check it out but I do warn you...it's crazy addictive...wear loose clothing and nothing white (though the airbrush doesn't stain). Good luck:)

You should be a lawyer......never a short answer.
Well, I did score above the 99th percentile on my LSAT's :)

However, despite the somewhat contradictory appearance, I actually hate writing. I type 140 wpm and pretty much hammer out a complete thought process as it is going through my mind.

See...my thought process can be brief. ;)

Trust you to notice THIS part!!!

Not quite sure what "fucky thong lines" are but it did catch my attention, that's for damn sure.
I'll show you one day :) PROMISE......I like to pull the straps up a little high on my string thong for it (tip for the ladies) and then when I wear lowriding jeans or pants etc it looks like someone can see your thong but really they can only see the tips of your tanlines...it can be pretty hot:) ;)

mystic tan

First day you're brown from the bronzer, next day you wake up like a roasted coffee bean depending on which level you've chosen. It fades over the next few days & that's when it can get a bit streaky. Be sure to exfolliate well right before you go & don't wear any makeup or oil based lotions as the product can't penetrate. As Tiffany mentioned, do wear your fav thong for fun tan lines! Takes a few minutes to prep then a minute or so in the booth. I recommend 'setting' it for 2 min in the stand-up electric beach booth to get rid of any stickiness.

PM me if you want a free session at Bodyrays on Cornwall. I bought 10 sessions but doubt i'm going to use them all..too much bikini gardening this year!

Totally agree with Angel, excellent product! I seldom tan anymore by preference, but I have found that using this product even without the beds gives a great glow and will even out any " lines'

Stand up's are another alternative... far less damaging ( surface tan) than the traditional beds

As always... moderation and a good mix of options will go along way
