Question about viewing the lineup @ Massage Spa

Last week was my first time visiting a massage spa in Vancouver. I went to see Mary @ 606.

Even though I asked the mamasan multiple times to see the lineup, she ended up just sending Mary straight to my room.

What is the regular procedure for massage places in Vancouver?
Can I walk in, ask to see the roster, and then walk out if I don't like what I see?

Spas don’t like showing the lineup if you already booked a certain girl.

You're correct! I booked Mary beforehand because of the great reviews I saw on PERB.

So if I just do a walk-in without booking, I should be able to see the roster and leave without issue?

Yes, in most places. Sometimes you'll be pushed to take the 'next up', but they will show you the lineup if you insist.

Yes like Lily's, the girls will show up one at a time but you have to be in the room. Make sure you told front desk you have no appointment and they'll be happy to show the lineup.

I'd say there's no definite answer to this. Depends on what place you go to, who the person at the front desk is, how she's feeling at that moment, how business has been recently, how you ask / come across, if you do this every day and walk out on them or not, etc. In theory, this should be completely fine, in reality, experiences vary.
