Quebec is the laughing stock of the world (again)!

Shouldn't of happened in the first place. What was being objected to in this situation was the use of English. English is the international language of business and science. Kinda like you used the language of our old hated english supervisors....from the dark days of English managers and French workers.....
Albertans want to do away with transfer payments, Quebec won't survive without the transfer payments.... The original idea behind the transfer payments was to keep migratory workers from moving about the large country of Canada, which would affect the population in Quebec (people would move to where the work was). Quebec is the standard bearer of how many seats in parliament a province can get. Hence the need to keep its population stable. And then some politician sang them a song of French First.... and so on.... and so .... making them (the Quebec People) get big britches.....
And the pendulum keeps swinging....
The reality of it is that Quebec will loose its French language within another 200 years due to English running into it (at an increasing speed due to phone apps etc). Our English will be have more Spanish words in it etc. Language will change, it will naturally do that. Blended languages will be the result..... English is an adaptive language, whereas French is not. Prime example is how Canadian is our language with American English used on most computers.
As for native North American Indians their dialects will die off in another 100 years because there are so few of them left speaking it, plus there are over 200 of the languages and there is no time or money to record it at all. Even these languages are changing from each generation to the next. So you are not recording the original language anyway, just what they remember as a kid....
Anyway how did they get French in the first place.... Its a bastarized form of Latin (from when Rome conquered the area of present day France).
