If you are buying an expensive car, ask where the stocking parts warehouse is. No dealership is going to stock every part. The way you feel about the car in a year depends on being able to drive it.
If you measure quality by performance and handling the BMW beats the LEXUS. The thing to understand about the BMW is that the designers put perfomance first - cost of repair is second.
For certain, if cost of repair is an issue at all go with the Lexus. For pure quality from a drivers point of view BMW is where you want to be!

Its seems to me that Lexus comes with almost everything standard and providing new crazy technology. All for such a fair price.European vehicles are soooooo expensive if you want anything for options.BMW's arent even a comfortable drive..There's nothing more comfortable than a Lexus,in my opinion..

I really liked the lexus interior design much better than the bmw.
Mercedes was the worst for the passenger side at least.

BMW and Lexus are similar in quality, BMW really markets themselves as "The Ultimate Driving Machine" wheras Lexus is more reliable and sensible.
Lexus service is hugely superior.
BMW service is ridiculously overpriced, their parts always have to be specially ordered, and they hardly every fix anything on the first three or four visits.
