I have a buddy who has mentioned Escorts and MP's many times. He is not having a good relationship with his wife. I would not let him know my hobby.

I have been hobbying around MP's and escorts for 5 years now and like schizo_man, this is a huge secret in my life. I am married and will never mention my hobby to anyone for fear of it getting back to my family or work associates. I know it is still risky, but I don't need any help.

Unless the guys have no risks personally or in their careers, I would suggest they keep it to themselves.

Depends who the friend is, and what he is like. The topic of sex for money and the morality of it comes up at work all the time. Everybody is pretty straight forward with sharing their ideas, and usually the single guys will openly admit to it if they had, but the married guys are always more tight lipped about it.

When I'm curious to find out if married guys participate, I'll wait for a moment when nobody else is around, then I'll come straight out and ask him.

Another way that I send out feelers is by adding the topic of fidelity in with the topic of paying for sex. It produces interesting conversations.

In my office of eight people: two single guys would not pay for it although they are not against others doing it; two single guys have paid for it; one married guy did when he was single, but would not now that he's married; one married guy would like to, but is scared shitless of being found out; and two married guys do it all the time but say that they still love their wives very much, they just need more than what their marriages are giving them.

The overall concensus is that there is nothing wrong with paying for sex. Consensual sex between a man and a woman, whether or not money is directly involved is, O.K.
