OK, I'm going to have to be very very careful when talking about this car because I got the feeling I would offend majorly.

I don't understand this car. Who does it appeal to? Why does it look like it was appealing to guys who are in their 60's who are thinking about their own dad's good times? Doesn't this car belong in a 30's movie as a milk truck?

I see a lot of them on the road. But maybe there are very few, but every time I see one I get annoyed so it seems like a lot. Someone explain to me this car. I don't understand what the appeal is, and who it appeals to.

I appeals to people that don't understand that it's really a NEON in drag. The neon a real lemon of a car.

The PT Cruiser is a four wheeled piece of shit, as metoo pointed out its a neon chassis with an ugly shell

It's one of the ugliest cars on the road. But then again, I sort of like the smart cars and most would probably question that one too.

IMO the Neon is just kinda starting to go the way of The Ford Aerostar and Chevy Astro van. When those vehicles get old and rusty and bagged out looking they just some how look like shit on wheels. I mean all vehicles get old and bagged out looking, but those three take the cake for looking like old pieces of shit.

How many times have you seen a old Astro or Aerostar and just said "man what a fukkin piece of shit!!"

About the PT cruiser, it belongs with the Hummer and VW Bug. If you have a company and want a semi unique vehicle to slap logos and stickers and shit all over it's a great vehicle, other than that Chrysler can keep the fukkin thing.

It is indeed based on the Neon chassis. The good thing about this car is how it has sparked the retro vehicle bombardment. I'll definitely be going down to test drive the new Camaro if it does go production! But it is still essentially a Neon in drag, and I'd never buy one. New on the PT cruiser for this year: Chrysler has notched the powertrain warranty down from 7 years to 5.

The only thing I know about the Cruiser is when I was really bookin' it down the Connector into Peachland one night last fall this friggin' Cruiser went by me like I was standin' still! DANG, that POS was flyin'...
