ps2 backup

can anyone help with some info as to how to go about burning PS 2 games. What software required, process, etc. Free would be nice, but if works will buy it.
I am well aware of the copyright laws, and of course only intend to make backup copies of games I own.

I use a program called ALCOHOL 120% for all my illegal burning needs and it kicks ass. Copy's everything I've thrown at it.

You only obsticle is you can't just use burnt DVD's or CD's....WTF ever PS uses, I'm a XBOX man myself; but the same rule applies. If you use copied software you need to buy a mod chip for your playstation.

Wuth XBOX it works as you buy the chip no problem then you search around on the underground (scary places on the web) for a BIOS to flas the new chip with so it will read the copied discs.

Not sure if this is all true with PS, but I'm sure some of the other tekk fukks will toss some shit in the ring!!!

Is your PS2 modded? I just use Nero and do a straight copy burn. Have yet to have one not work.

yes the ps2 is modded, have burned games that work. Nero won't recognize my burner, why I don't know - just says no disc or device not ready. Device works, burns DVD great using DVD Shrink. Alcohol fails also, trail version runs for about 90 seconds then aborts. Is there something I'm missing. Running a LG burner, +/- capability. Using DVD - R blanks. Are games on R+? Any other assistance would be appreciated.

Best -R media to use is the Ridata with red packaging. Some others may work but this one is the best.
