Prosthetic leg friendly SPs

[Correct]

Asking for a friend of mine, who lives in the Lower Mainland area. We served together, he lost his leg in Afghanistan, but gets around well considering. Great guy, but had a bad experience with the one and only SP he saw, she snapped on him when he dropped his pants and had a prosthetic leg.
So ladies, and gentlemen, please chime in if you know any great providers who don't care about it.

I’m on Vancouver island which doesn’t help but I do have 2 clients who are like this & they were very upfront with me about it which made the whole thing simple and natural , I don’t think most of us would have any issues
Communication is key !

I know for myself its definitely not a problem and with a heads up I would check with anyone else working with me that he wanted to see but I can't see there being a problem.

Sounds like he unfortunately got one of the few sp's that would have a problem with this.

Awesome to hear, and thanks to all of you for chiming in. A real nice guy sent me a PM on this topic as well, and it seems that the best advice I can give my friend is to tell anyone that he may see, upfront. Its been a part of his life so long, it's just normal for him now, and I don't think he would ever think to mention it before going. So I told him to make sure and mention it ahead of time. I haven't seen him in a few months because I moved away and only visit so often. But on our last visit we went for a walk and must have gone 4 kms or so, I sometimes forget that he lost a leg.
