Seems a given that proof of a valid Covid vaccination will be necessary to fly.

Just wondering if proof would affect the pay for play industry?

Will SP's or pooners be more welcome if they have proof of Covid protection?

What's wrong if it would make people feel safer in the presence of another?

I think most people in the industry - SP's and pooners try to avoid people they think might be drug users, and people they think might be otherwise doing unsafe things, so if a vaccine can keep you from getting, or spreading Covid, I think it would be a good thing.

I’m grumpy as fuck right now. 2020 has gotten to me...

I often hear how all other vaccines took 5 plus . years to decide if they were safe, have we maybe just gotten a bit more tech savy that we can now know in under a year? Honestly no clue, just wondering. I am guessing you are not in a high risk segment of society from covid so I understand your reluctance to take it, I am high risk and I still don't know if I will take it. Though if I ever want to travel again I more than likely will have to.

my mother was describing how when she traveled to europe in her 20's she had to carry a small pox proof of vaccination card everywhere and at all times...

i don't think it's that radical of an idea and seems to have been used in the past... depending on what information is on the card/ proof...it could be an issue of privacy for us in our industry...privacy is paramount for us all...so not sure if showing clients our full and true names will be a "thing" and vice versa.... maybe we can work on a way to address that.... something to think about....opinions welcome on what could be done to protect privacy...

Many countries still require proof of vaccination for entry.

SP's might also require proof before we're allowed to enter.

I went to a Nevada university and had to provide proof of vaccination. When I couldn't find my old Canadian records I had to go for new immunizations. Either that or lose the tuition.

It would absolutely be acceptable for an SP to require proof of vaccination. It's not an easy business to be in, with stigma and all the risks that SP's face, but the upside of being your own boss in an unregulated industry is setting your own rules. Just like any other screening measure the client is free to comply or seek the company of another provider.

Does the vaccine even work? Does it actually prevent transmission and infection of Covid-19? even the CEO of Pfizer recently said 'this is something that needs to be examined' when asked this question.

But yet billions of taxpayer dollars were given to these snake oil salesmen, and even in countries where people have the chance of being given compensation for severe reactions, if it can actually be proven that their issues were due to the vaccine, that compensation will also be paid by taxpayers. The vaccine manufactures for these emergency covid vaccines will be taking 0% liability.

Well if you think vaccine manufacturers are snake oil salesmen I think that says a lot about you, but that is something anyone should already know after reading your posts. You seem to have a real problem with big Pharma, I am not saying they are perfect but they have done alot of good. As I said in a different thread, people saying vaccines should take 5 to 10 years to develop, yes, 40 years ago, has science not gotten a bit more advanced that we can knock some years off that? I do not think the human genome was actually figured out when the last vaccine was developed. Hey I am just a blue collar shmuck so what do I know.

It's okay to be scared of the vaccine, and it's okay to think that the pharmacare industry is going to make millions, and it's okay to think that covid-19 is not as bad as it is, and if you think it's a hoax, just stay the hell away from me.

I think some of the comments coming from many of you are ill-informed and quite frankly dangerous.

I am over 55 and I will be jumping at the opportunity to receive the vaccine when it is available to me.
