Problems with condoms. Any advice?

I completely echo these sentiments. I am in my late-40s, and had the same issues with maintaining erections, especially during Round 2 of a session. Since I started taking Viagra, though, I have none of those problems, and going twice in an hour-long session is a piece of cake.
And trust me, your SP will definitely enjoy the upgrade in erection size, too.
I can't recommend the "Vitamin V" highly enough if you have theses issues, just watch out for those post-session headaches!

I dunno about your age being that much a factor. If you tell your doc you're having issues maintaining an erection (but not actually getting one), that should be good enough. He might check your vitals, ask you about your morning wood (say it's fine), but ED isn't just an old guy problem, I don't think. It's worth a shot, and might be an easier solution.
They sure will. I've had similar problems with condoms. I'm a bit thicker in girth and most condoms just cut off the circulation and feeling for me. It is hit and miss if I can finish with the condom on. Went to a walk-in clinic in my mid thirties, told the doc I was having problems getting it up, he gave me some samples (Viagara vs. Cialis) and a prescription with very few questions asked.
They aren't going to call you out and have you prove you can't get it up.
I preferred Viagara. Takes a little more planning because there is like an hour before it really kicks in, but you will get erections like you had in your teens again and maintain it with or without the condom.
There you go! The bottom line is that as long as the doctor thinks your body can handle taking Viagra, and you're not on other meds that might be affected by it, there is no reason for a doctor not to give it to you. I mean, it isn't morphine!
At 38 try some other things first. No or very little alcohol or tobacco. Eliminate xeno- or phyto-estrogens and pure polyester garments, esp. underwear. Do increase NO (nitric oxide) levels in the blood, including consuming beets and citrulline. There is al lot more to do. Research it.

Well that was a bust. Went to the walk in near my work today, saw a nice older lady doctor, explained my problem, she was sympathetic and just wanted to check my vitals. Oops. My blood pressure reading almost broke the machine and scared the crap out of her. I kind of forgot that I have naturally occurring very high blood pressure. My personal doctor can't explain it, I have zero physical manifestations, no arrhythmia, lung, liver and kidney function is all perfect, no headaches, dizziness, nothing. Absolutely no reason for my blood to race around my system, but it does. Medication doesn't even lower it.
Anyway, suffice it to say, the nice lady Doctor told me I'd probably have a stroke if I took viagra. No big deal, lots of others things to try and I cum harder from an oral finish anyway.

Viagra is a vasodialator which lowers blood pressure. It was initially being developed as a drug for the treatment of hypertension and angina. During the trials they noted it had little effect on angina but many of the test subjects reported it caused spontaneous penile erections. The tall foreheads at Pfizer quickley decided that this drug should be marketed to to treat ED not hypertension/angina where there were much more effective drugs on the market already and none for ED.
Thus while not overly effective for high blood pressure, Viagra would temporarily lower your BP not elevate it (and cause a stroke).

That's not necessarily because of the high blood pressure but because most people with high blood pressure are already on a drug to lower their BP. Thus if they take Viagra in concert with their current medication, then their BP will fall dangerously low.
If you go see a doctor for Viagra and they discover you have high BP (and not based on one reading) they are going to be more concerned about your hypertension than the fact you can't get a boner. So giving you Viagra would take a back seat to giving you an effective vasodilator.
What was her recommendation regarding your high BP or did she just say "No Viagra for you!" and walk out?

Lol. No she didn't viagra nazi me, but she was definitely more concerned with the BP, which I told her I was addressing with my GP.

Update. Went to another clinic for a "2nd opinion." Little more progress. The NP there will give me some cialis on Monday if my pressure has come down. Shouldn't be an issue.

Jethro, with your very perceptive and accurate advice and the kind feedback you give to lots of people, you are in danger of getting a fan club. Anyways, I want to affirm Jethro's advice to fellow pooners. Also, want to warn people about reading some of his comments if you are at work (once I fell out of my chair laughing and it was not easy to explain to my "subordinates" what I was reading)
Lifestyles SKYNs are polyisoprene and come in two sizes. They're excellent. You should be able to find them at most places where you buy condoms (Safeway Pharmacy for sure, and they're often on sale there too.)
I believe Nine Circles and Rainbow Resource Centre also have polyisoprene condoms for free. I'm pretty sure they're Skyns with a generic package - they're in a yellow wrapper and just say "non-latex" on them.
My first GF had an issue where we had to use rubbers for a couple years, I learned that you need a bubble tip one, and with a pea-sized amount of lube in it, to let it slide around and feel good on you. Sorry if this is redundant, I didn't read all the posts.

I did not go through the whole thread either but ya put lube on your C%&K and you won't even know you have a rubber on. Make sure the lube is condom safe. I know that this doesn't need to be said but you never know, some guys have bit the bullet because they mixed rubber and petroleum based lube together.
