It looks like LeoList is up and running for Vancouver Island. That didn't take long.

It also looks like it is only serving Canada. Seems to me they should be taking on the world. At the same time, there could be a different list for each community and it would work fine. Someone will want to create a list of lists of course.

What info is there about who is running LeoList and how they take input from advertisers about the layout and administration of the service?

It is actually all Servers not just Social Media anywhere in the world without a warrant. Protonmail is based in Switzerland and from what I have read it was developed by scientists in the Nuclear research industry. End to end encryption indicates to me the US may have a problem decrypting an email. This is assuming both parties are using protronmail and have used the keys properly.

It's probably no coincidence LL started to expand their operations across Canada this week, lots of promotion on Twitter. With bp gone they saw an opportunity. I just hope they don't too big and end up in regulatory cross hairs.

I'm in the US. Backpage is obviously gone. Cityvibe shut itself down. Aampmaps seems to have pulled the plug on itself. A couple other boards have also either closed or pulled all their ads.

I don't know where Americans and providers will migrate to. Will this board welcome a US section w/both areas for ads and discussion? If so, it would need to be by region (e.g. Nor Cal, So Cal, LA, NYC, etc.)

I do know of a few pockets where k-girl ads are being posted but some have gone away already. And, I don't know of a good discussion area any more.

We are way better off in Canada than they are in the States. Problem is, the Americans like to enforce their laws in other countries so Canadian resources will be reluctant to serve the States.
