All Obama can do is blame, criticize and name call.
Good luck America when Obama care and all the tax hikes attached to it kicks in, not to mention the high cost people will get hit with for "free" health care.

It amazes me all the "news" you hear on TV with no facts to back it up and people will believe it, and if someone has a different view they are idiots or morons. Very sad
Idiots and morons are people who make idiotic and moronic statements regardless of the political party they support.

The Democrats are pretty open about how they would like to balance the budget. We all know that nothing is free and he doesn't hide the fact that big business and the wealthy need to step up to the plate and start paying their fair share. The Republicans, on the other hand want to maintain the Bush era tax cuts for the wealthy and writeoffs for corporate jets for big business, increase military spending and yet expect to balance the budget one of these days and it's pretty obvious that cuts to social and entitlement programs is the route they would take. Apart from cutting funding for PBS (He wanted to axe Big bird ??!?!), we never heard much about where the cuts were going to come from but the ones who benefit the most from many of those programs are the low and low-middle class which is a growing portion of the US.

But maybe you are part of the 1%. If so...yes, if the Democrats get their way, you can expect to cough up more of your hard earned cash to help pay for "free" healthcare.

Hey giddyup, I love a good debate.
I am an independent voter but have really watched Obama closely the last term and I am not impressed with him. Romney has a successful track record in politics and business and has shown he can work with Democrats. Was hoping for more of that.

Time will tell I hope Obama does well.

Romney has agood track record, are you kidding? He's a business man who actually buys companies, piles on debt then sells them. As a politcian he's a complete idiot. Romney let the tea party take his nuts away. If he had won the U.S. would be a laughing stock when it comes to the foreign community. Christy you're an intelligent beautiful woman, but leave the politics to politicians. It's bad for business not to mention in Romneys world you would not exist. Well except to do dishes and stay home with the children, as he still doesn't believe in equal pay for women in the work force. See Lilly Ledbetter fair pay act of 2009 signed by President Obama.

In a perfect world everybody in the US would have as many opinions about Canadian politics as Canadian people have about US politics.

Nearly impossible because nobody gives a rat's ass. Nor do they know much of anything about Canada. It is what it is.

You guys are to be commended for your knowledge (in most cases) about US affairs and politics. It is embarrassing to admit how few here know anything outside of their own small world.

Hi pervirgin,

Keep the politics to the politicians..hehe your funny
I know all the stats on Romeny in regards to Baine capital, Salt lake city Olympics and when he was Govenor. I understand he isnt the pefect choice with his social policies but finicially he would get the economy on a much better track than Obama.

You have to understand you are painting a very generic picture of Romeny that the facts just don't back up. If you hang on to the main stream medias every word without fact checking you would come to that conclusion.
That is why i fact check everything i hear.

But time will tell, and honestly i hope his second term is different than his first.

No he wouldn't. The financial policy of the US doesn't really change and the president has little control over that. The current financial policy was formulated at the end of the Bush era, when the Republicans held the presidency, not Obama. Congress are the ones who pass the laws and raise taxes, the only thing the president can do is veto them or spend what congress allows. Plus, any legislation needs to pass muster with 60 senators (as the Democrats found out in the first two years of Obama's term), so even if Romney had won he would have faced the same issues with the senate that Obama has with the house now.

The main powers the presidents have are foreign policy and administrative things dealt with by executive orders, which impacts mostly administration and social issues.

Painting a real photo coming from someone who lives in the U.S. he let the flea(tea) party and fox news hand him a lose. He took the wrong stance and is not a real man who can't stand on his own. First off he says government should not get involved. Well isn't being President the number 1 government job? Ok you say Salt Lake city Olympics, he didn't save the Olympics. The government gave him the money to fund the Olympics. He like all the other old grey head GOP fail to realize the world is a changing demograph. I'm put it in a way you understand as a working girl. If you were to only discriminate and only take all white clients you would lose so much revenue. Well the GOP has to understand in our world they are no longer the majority but the minority.

Until they figure out how to get in where they fit in. Mock my words, there will never ever again be a white Republican President.

Yups! The GOP seems to be struggling to maintain their present shrinking demographic while the Democrats continues to make strong inroads in a demographic that is continually growing. Like that soda commercial, " The Choice Of The New Generation ". :eyebrows:

With regards to not having a white GOP President in the future, I think its pretty much exaggerated. If Obama and his party doesn't do their homework and the US economy tanks then the Americans will vote against the incumbent no matter what color, beliefs, etc.

Romney's record as Governor of MA was not as successful as you claim Christy.

He used the Governor Veto 800 times, a record by any Governor and he was pretty loose with the truth when it came to being bipartisan.

The Bain Capital issues are well known how they gutted companies and sent the US jobs overseas.
