Potent beer

After a visit to a micro in the area I went to Foggy's on Robson and found out on the menu that the strongest beer made is from Switzerland and the alcohol content is 13.5%.

From La Belle Province

Not up to the 13.5% but running second at 10% is an extra strong ale from Unibroue in Quebec. They also have 3 at 9% and a variety of others. Particularly fine is their Ephemere series - fruit flavoured ales - Apple, Cranberry and Cassis. And, BTW, these ales come in 500 or 750 ml bottles so you can get a good buzz and still claim you only had one or two bottles.
