Possible Tour to Whistler

Hi people and Happy New Year. My friend Natasha and I are considering going to Whistler for 3 or 4 days. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any work up there? We are going to rent a townhouse and plan to work while we are there along with some personal time. If we go just for personal time we would only stay one night but if there is work there we would make it 3 days or more but just don't know if it is worth it.

If any girls have experience there I would love to hear about it and if any guys have input same goes. Of course as soon as we are sure we would be advertising well in advance.

Anyways cheers to everyone and have a great 2016.

FYI a trip to Kamloops and Kelowna are also in the plans.

If you were to go to Whistler, canx all your meetings, then spend all 3-4 days skiing/boarding, I don't think anyone would blame you! (I, personally, am jealous of anyone heading to Whistlier....)

I've done some solo trips to some big ski hills in my younger years, thinking with cockiness that I'd be up for something at the end of the day but after each loooong day going down dozens of trails, all I could think about was food & sleep. But that's just weak 'ole me!

Please for the love of god do NOT drive to whistler if you don't have winter tires, far too many accidents that could have been avoided, make sure you get there safe.

Some say good tires. I agree, this would help. Imo, you need a good driver. But what do I know, I only drive a 60,000lb rig.

I agree. Good all seasons will do just fine 99% of the time when driving to Whistler AS LONG AS YOU KNOW HOW TO DRIVE ON SNOW AND ICE.
