the most i ever paid to see an sp was to Gina Lee who ended up under-charging and over-servicing me ... no complaints there.
can list an endless stream of others who charged the 'going rate' and never got anything going ... lots of complaints there.
and its not about price, its about service -- or, more specifically, about attitude.
the great thing about Gina wasn't just the fantastic sex, but that for the time i was with her she treated me like i was the only guy she ever wanted to be with ... and that's a great attitude! [/QUOTE
I just took the time to read this thread, the topic that never ends, LOL Jodi.
Silkrose has pointed out the always overlooked SP overhead. It isn't a turn key business. The overhead is high as she lists. It is a high stress industry, if the rates are lowered you aren't going to get as much selection. Why would women stay in an industry that has huge social taboos, health & safety risks & more, just to make as much as a normal job??
There seems to be alot of advertised specials right now. What is that telling us......
Women all over the country & the USA are commenting on the change in the industry, not for the better. I think its long overdue for a SP union!!!! A collective resource to cover all the issues that are not being dealt with properly:social stigma, legalization, taxes, medical, safety, retirement, etc....
Including myself, there are alot of established escorts taking on other jobs/school due to recent biz trends.
There was recently an ISO new providers in Victoria. I haven't seen too many new independent ladies since I started 3 years ago. Why aren't more women getting into the biz?? The rates have not changed much in 15 years - Victoria anyway.
Lets work towards keeping everyone happy here, as LG says, its not about price, its about the attitude on both sides of the fence.

Be careful what you wish for. Of the countries that I have some experience with that have such situations (e.g. Denmark, Holland and Germany), the prices relative to a man's wage is way lower than Vancouver and the conditions for the ladies worse in terms of what they actually take home.Gina Lee said:Women all over the country & the USA are commenting on the change in the industry, not for the better. Good for you WB...do what you like to do as that is more important than what you make. My only point is people making even $30 an hour are not likely to be doing much pooning at prices being what they are. Always exceptions (someone pointed out a guy above who dipped into RSP to poon...foikin sad that is) but in general, you need disposible income galore to have a hobby that is after tax more than a $100 an hour.wackyboy said:What I'm saying is, who has a $30 an job in Vancouver? The only jobs I see advertised in the paper are $10 an hour, and you need several years of experience in an office setting.
I know this is off topic. That's why I'm going to school to better myself. Technical writing seems to the key, but still that pays $20 an hour.

No offence taken whatsoever. Your response was excellent and thought provoking. I am not saying I am the judge at all though, I am saying marketplace is. I agree, market will get rid of terrible providers BUT market cannot do it as easily if such manipulate review boards (topic of another thread).lebagyptian said:I'm sorry gunto but who makes you the judge to proclaim that some girls make more than they deserve? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I may be a goddess to some but worthless to others. Some may pay $1000/hr for me or as little as $100/hr. Understand what I am trying to explain? How can you put the pricing on what to charge? SPs are given the right to charge whatever they want. If they are terrible service providers then their journey will end immediately. If they are decent then they will reach their destination.
Please do not take this the wrong way and get the idea that I am attacking you. I like interacting and discussing with othersAs you will discover as you tune into perb more..
