This is what makes me paranoid, and why I hang onto my old phones.

As long as they can track your phone they can track you. Very common in LE. Phones have been turned off but still sent a locating signal. The ONLY way to turn your phone off and know that it is off is remove the battery.

With all the serious shit going on in the world, this poor sod has to take a fall for keeping himself physically and mentally healthy and in a good frame of mind. It all took place out of sight, and on his own nickel and time. Pierre had it right. Gov has no place in the bedrooms of the nation.
