That makes sense to me.
I agree. Unfortunately, I guess not everyone is as smart about doing their research as you. I remember once when there was briefly another Violet in Victoria, & even good regulars assumed it was me. I got people asking for duos with the other SP's duo partner, people asking me why I changed phone numbers or locations, & so on, LOL.
Probably something negative? I would probably assume that either they are really new/naive & didn't even think to check to see if there was already an SP with that name, or that they chose it intentionally, hoping to steal the girl's business.
I don't think it's really a matter of intelligence so much as not being lazy. Most problems that guys have could be avoided just by doing simple google searches, which would lead them to this (or another) review site.

That one was soooo annoying, when she had a really unique name PLUS posted a "what do you think of changing my name to... Bella Leone" etc and everyone explained quite clearly why it was a stupid choice. However, since she knows better than everyone else, chose to do it anyway I assume.
It take a couple of seconds to plug in a name on CL search to see if it is in use. If it is, change it, search it, or modify it some way. Make sure that if the name is chosen is already in use, that you are in a different location with a different enough description to pull it off. Not searching before posting ads indicates a lazy attitude, and lazy can reflect in service and attitude.
The ones who choose another name in use on purpose had best search that name for reviews in case they have chose a name with a bad reputation. If so, imo, they deserve the results of their lack of initiative.

I think one motive to use an established escorts name is to ride the coattails of the original ladies rep.
Clients seeing the moniker may recall vividly seeing the name, or maybe the memory is blurry, either way, the original lady is the "gardener" who worked hard to "plant seeds of thoughts" towards her image.
The first one is the lady who put in her time, and paid her dues as the personality and businesswoman assosiated with the name...She built it.
If the original lady is actively using the name, its

for someone else to attempt to assume it as their own.

I didn't care for the one who wanted to use Bella Leone because she was choosing two names from 2 separate and reputable Vancouver sps plus she was planning to use this name in Vancouver. If she had stayed in Montreal and used it, so be it. The silk name Amie Leone is simliar, using xox Amie, an established sp, with the Leone as well.
I understand some names are common & can't be "reserved" but there are ways to individualize without looking like duplication hasn't at least been considered.
