Since it's the subject of much ado,
let's get some answers
for vanessa and Bijou.

Do you have a wife or significant other that knows about this board and related activities, and that you are a member that participates ?

Well that wasn't really what I was asking... but still interesting to see the results. :)

Those are weird options...lol Why not answer both questions with one option?

1- Married, SO knows
2- Married, SO doesn't know
3- Single

That would make more sense, no? :)

I was one of those that answered both ways. This is because my, now ex wife, knew I was seeing SP's. She just wasn't aware of how often. Sorry if I have skewed your results......

Maybe, but wouldn't be as poetic. Besides I'm a weird person, so let my weirdness roam free.......:D

So, Cambie bridge area ? Did you see us ? Should we have waved ? Maybe we should have had you join in ? Ah well, missed opportunities.

Uncleg thank you for setting this up...I think it is important that we ALL understand that this board is here for a reason...I do not join in on too many threads there for not much board presence ...however when I feel strongly about something I tend to voice my thoughts....

I think that what has now transpired in the other thread this poll is a good reminder as to who visits us ladies and why discretion is important.... and yes I understand that not all you guys are married but I am sure discretion is still important to you...lol...

I believe that if a pole was to be done into how many ladies firmly believe and practice discretion you can rest assured you are in good hands....

Thank you Vanessa, hopefully it'll shed a kinder and gentler light on the issue. By the way is that a 10 ft. pole or an arms length pole ?

I think it's fair to assume that those guys that go to SP's and need discretion, all feel that the ladies they see will provide the utmost in discretion. However, I think that sometimes the client and the SP's definition of discretion may differ, as does each parties idea of who is responsible for what, to ensure that discretion. If you don't know where you stand, don't play and you won't fall off.

The choices do seem confusing. I don't have a SO. I think that if I did I wouldn't be seeing sp's. I don't think less of the men that do however. Everyone has their own reasons and their own unique situation.
If you look at JPR's thread you'll note the question being put out by both ladies in regards to the marital status of JPR's support. How many of the supporters were married/had SO's.
The situation in question is not an issue if you are single, though I guess if mommy found your cell phone and called it could be.:D

Not implying U live with mommy.:)

haha I have absolutely no problem with that. :)

However...it looks like your options might have confused those who voted because you somehow got 8 who voted they were married....and said their SO did not know. And then 3 votes for SO did know... not sure how's that possible unless we've got some polygamous members?!? lol

Which shows how easy it is to confuse some people. Since you can vote more then one option, did some people try to correct themselves ? Did some vote multiple times just to confuse the issue ? There were some posts made on this thread that were deleted by the posters, not sure why. I guess the point is more to get people to look at the questions and think about what the SO does know, may know, does not know, may suspect and what the consequences could be. Things aren't always clear to people, first reactions aren't always correct, first impressions aren't always correct. In a poll like this, no harm, no foul. We can all laugh about it. Reality doesn't always work that way, and sometimes trying to correct something. no matter how well intentioned just makes it worse.

if you really wanted to make it stand out you could have added options for Gay/Lesbian couples as well ..
Since significant other is gender neutral, there is no reason that it can't apply to gay/lesbian couples.;)

It's not like I was trying to leave you out, my apologies if that was the impression.:p

What about insignificant others such as meathodman's monkey or Hubba Hubba's...:confused::confused: What might Hubba Hubba have BTW???: This poll seem to exclude some very odd individuals whose inclusion might add a lot of needed ambiguity to the results. :p
Ahhhh, PG it must be something in the Alberta air. Significant other is neutral in so many ways, hell it could be your right hand, or left, don't want to offend. If it's a monkey, a donkey, granny or your favorite melon with a hole in it, does this SO know about you ?:D

Perhaps it is the BC bud which caused you to miss the slightly INsignificant variation in the word choice I made? :p

Oh shit, you were taking a shot at meth and hubbs, sorry about that. It's that what may be an INsignificant relationship in your eyes, maybe very significant to those two. After all, really consider who you used as examples ...................................:D Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh BC Bud, what can I say about that ??????????????????:p
