What do you mean? Both the RCMP and Vancouver PD websites clearly state that there is a pre-employment polygraph. (I assume it would be the same for other police departments).

They don't ask you about your pooning career. It is very benign and aimed simply at establishing some rights from wrongs. It is not very personal at all.

Before you ask - yes I have done the testing.
