Speaking from personal experience do not let your first time be with a SP. I would recommend against it. But I wish you the best!

THAT is what makes it worthwhile to learn on your own. My first time was when I was out "cruising" and a girl I used to work with basically got me to ditch my buddy and took me back to my parent's house (they were out of town) and she abused me (in a good way) in their bed. Hey 29M here, new to Canada and trying to explore Vancouver on free time (mostly weekends). Thought about starting a new thread but the original post covered most of my queries.
I'm going to be honest from the start. I've had zero luck when it comes to dating. I met few organically, went on a few dates but they were already with someone else (red flag). The last time I felt really connected with someone was in 2014. We were in the same anime club and used to chat for hours, sometimes even till 3 AM. I guess I'm waiting for right woman to cuddle and kiss, eventually form a genuine friendship/connection and maybe, just maybe, who cares about me enough to take my first kiss and virginity.

I am hesitant but have thought about seeing a professional service provider if I can't find a genuine connection before I'm 30. At the same time, I want it to be with someone special or at least a friend. I know, given the modern dating scenario, I'll never be someone's first.

So, my question is, should I wait or should I just go ahead with a professional? I have no idea about the process and rates for hiring a pro.

If I'm going to book a higher-end independent SP (which seems like the safest option if I go with someone reputable), what are your thoughts about a 2-hour session? Are there still reasons that it would be considered too long?

I can understand 2 hours being too long if I'm going to a AMP kind of establishment where it's high-volume and they want to get me in & out as quickly as possible, or if there is a language barrier between myself and the SP. I think if I chose a SP who focuses more on the personal/GFE side of things (and there is no language barrier between us), 2 hours would be a good amount of time for us to get comfortable with each other (especially me who has never done this kind of thing before) and for me not to feel rushed in the experience

The way you are talking about feelings and connection etc before even meeting the girl is a sign that you might be too attached to the situation. when it comes down to it, you are paying for sex. the feelings and attraction you think she feels for you are not real, otherwise you wouldnt be paying her.
Just from the way you are talking, and how anxious you are, I dont know if seeing an escort for you virginity is the best route. I may be wrong. if you were acting more casual about it I would probably give you a different answer.
You also might get taken advantage of and milked for more money and future sessions, and yes this can happen with an experienced well reviewed provider.
If you really want to go this route, I think a sugar baby would be better suited, atleast that way you dont need to jump right into it, and you can develop a more girlfriend like experience, even if its still transactional.

just being honest bro. you dont need to take my advice, but theres a couple guys telling you this isnt the best idea. and it more has to do with your perceived demeanour about this situation.

I also strongly think if you are going to do this to stick to a woman your age or younger. it'll feel more natural, and you will have more in common with them. it'll feel more real.

also what have you done in terms of self improvement to get civilian girls? you hit the gym daily? you eat well? you well groomed? you getting out and socializing? you making good money and striving to make more? having fun experiences? cause if you answered no to any of those questions, your competition is. self improvement is what you should also be working on.

but you are oldfart, and he is in his 20s. trust me, younger woman can be very very experienced especially these days with social media/dating apps etc. and age absolutely doesnt equate to maturity. im not saying he should go for a 19 year old. but he would almost certainly be better off with a girl in the 22-30 range.

Im similar age to OP if not the exact same age. woman over the age of 35 grew up in a completely different social environment and are more difficult to connect with, he would have way more in common with a girl in his peer group. a younger girl would give him more confidence with woman his age.

also anecdotal of course, but in my experience dating civillian girls, and having been with plenty of older woman (for free), they are almost the least immature woman in the dating market. the mature ones usually have a family and husband etc.
