Is absolutely off by a mile. My post was observational and voiced with concern over the lack of some people not taking the situation seriously . As nobody I know is freaking out, irrational or in a panic. The panic buying . It happened a couple /three days but that seemed to have levelled off a bit as retailers are limiting certain items to one per customer .In Victoria anyways.

Calling him irrational and emotional .It could very well be argued that he made a decision based on lack of knowledge of the customer in front of him touching all the buns. Even without the virus I probably would have moved along as it's kinda gross. Mikema has no idea if this guy feeling up the buns is infected . Grocery store employees have been wearing gloves a couple weeks now. So he played it safe, Def nothing wrong with that. Smart move on his part .

People are not taking it seriously enough. The way people are acting, the curve is not flattening, it's skyrocketing. Right now, it quadruples every week (doubles every 3-4 days). What you're seeing reported now is basically what was happening 2 weeks ago.

Trudeau has been upfront and animated too about the seriousness to stay home, imho. But I feel the health ministers and chief medical officers both federally and provincially have been way too lax, calming, and reactive. They have been way too slow to act, and unimpressive in their messages. Meanwhile the spread of Covid-19 accelerates under their watch, and they come on tv, tell us the stats, announce a few more “progressive” restrictions, and advise caution. Holy shit, even B-Hen said to respect groups in public interracting today, and maybe call the cops for a large party gathering in your neighbourhood, as much for a noise complaint as anything! Seriously—that’s how we deal with violators during a global pandemic?
