Of course they will be prosecuted. This is illegal. This is the second facebook like this one. The first one was some boys that went to an all boys catholic school in Australia. Their names were not published because they are minors, but the police were involved, and the face book fan page was shut down, and they were disciplined.

They might show pictures of gta girls, but in nowhere on that page do they mention the video game. I play tons of video games and even playing a video game, I pick up the odd girl cause its funny to make the car rock, but I think there has to be something wrong with you, if you are killing women for fun even in a video game. Sensitivity chip missing or something.

So, this is the reason to take such an apathetic stance. Who cares. Someone else will just come along anyway. Holy Cow. I think it might be wise to not book with your handle. I definitely don't want to see you.

If they get prosecuted its only cause Australia is nuts, seriously they banned small tit porn, woman orgasms, and cartoon porn. Over in North America nobody(especially kids) would ever get prosecuted. And if you check the article posted, they only got disciplined by their catholic school.

I totally agree on the video game part, have played gta at a friends house like 3 years ago, didn't see the point to it. Would rather play a competitive game.

What I mean is don't waste your life policing the internet, have faith in people. Eventually after say 10,000 invites their is bound to be 50-100 that report the group, and their isn't much of a difference between the 50 or the 200+ people that you will get to report it. Only difference is you might get it off faster, but at the cost of your time asking/posting to get it reported.

It is never a waste of time to stand up against vilolence against women. I am very confused by the effort you are putting into telling us not to waste our time

I happen to like the game grand theft auto. As a matter of fact, I'm playing gta 3 right now. I have played all the gta, since the first one came out. I love that I can play a cold ruthless, russian mafia guy, and get rich off crime. In real life, I am very soft. Its fun to step out of my role. The video game does not advocate killing prostitutes. It is very violent, but no where in it, is there a mission to kill hoes. That fanpage is about killing hoes, and they have used pictures of gta, but that is the only reference to it on all the pages. Just the pictures. Please don't be confused by pictures from a video game and then think that it is harmless. It is not harmless, at all.

I don't want to take anybody down. I have a little bit of power over facebook because it has a report post function. You are confusing the issue. If something is important , why not stand up for it.

By not reporting it, you are ok with something like that being there, to influence young teenage boys to hate us, and think we are less than dirt and we don't have the same souls as you. Are you crazy?

This one was sent to me in an email, then I noticed it being talked about on another board. I did not go looking for it. I saw it, was offended, came to a place, where I knew there would be like minded people to help get it off faster. I also know teenage boys. So why keep up something that reinforces the negativity? I am not a hyprocrite at all actually. I just love video games and I have played them since I was a kid. I play them all, except racing games. I am not a good driver, hahaha.

My point was, I don't believe that, that fan page has anything to do with video games and is all about killing real live women that eat and breathe. Just because they posted pictures from a video game does not make it about the game. The game is not mentioned once.

I know what you mean. When I play GTA4 with my guy friends, they shoot, beat up and try to kill everyone in the game. When I play with my girlfriends, we just try to steal cars and get as far as we can completing the missions.

Hopefully that awful page will be down soon with all of us reporting it.

I'd bet none of those people who are members of that page are actually fucked up enough to take it seriously, and if they do, they were fucked up before that page ever started up. If anything, they probably get a kick out of riling you up. The group not only has the gta4 picture, but it references right on the first page That you spend all your money on weapons anyway. In gta3 having sex with a hooker gave you health, and then running her over afterwards gives you your money back meaning free health. Most of the members of this group are teenagers, many of them girls, its just a joke about grand theft auto. As an sp I can see how this offends you, but you take these kids too seriously. Report it if you want to but they are right you can't police the internet, the buzz surrounding the removal of this group will only spawn five more to replace it.
