It depends on what kind of deal you can get. Sometimes you'll find that there's a bundle available for the 160 gb version that isn't available for the 80 gb version, or vice versa. If one of those bundles appeals to you (ie. it contains things you would have wanted to buy anyway, and the bundled price saves you money), then go for it and don't care too much about what HD size you get. If the different bundles don't hold any appeal to you, get the 80 gb version unless the 160 gb version is on sale and the 80 isn't. Why? Because you may find that 80 gb is plenty of room for you, and even if you don't, the difference in price between the 2 is about $120. You can get a 320 gb HD for about $100, and just upgrade your 80 gb PS3 to have twice the hard drive capacity of the 160 gb PS3 at a lower price.
