I am in SW Calgary
I thought that in order to be charged for "living off", that somebody who was working for that person, had to sign a statement. I might be wrong, but i am pretty sure that is what has to happen.

"living off" to simply put it is "pimping" and under the Canadian criminal law, anyone taking a portion of one's income from prostitution or any sex related act is a crime. I believe this is the easiest and simpliest way to put it.

well the neighbours are one of the contributing factors in Pinky's busted, but so are the disclosure of certain information. Look at the history, you think without certain open source, the piggies are able to track Pinky from North to South and East to West. We are being watch at a distance and I am sure some of them actually visit sites and forums such as this for info.

^obviously they do, but not busting every single micros they see online. as i see it, police only take actions to arrest (bust) places like this is because:

A) too many complaints from near by residence that police were too annoyed by the calls which they'll have to something about it.

B) business in a micro makes big profits which the money flow in between ignores too much taxes, which, also includes using girls overseas who do not have working permits.(also implies to tax profit)

here are 2 examples i've seen:

1) this guy who have a small apartment with 2 bedrooms, who only have 1 or 2 girls the most, he did not have that much customer in and out, using girls that are mostly local(very occasionally have overseas girls), and he's been running the place for the past 4 years totally safe!

verdict: he's making profit, while not enough to let the government to check his taxes, and also not having too many people in/out which doesn't affect the neighbours.

2) another person i know started off the same route, after a year or so he moved into a big apartment with 4 - 5 rooms, having at least 6 - 7 girls who are local + overseas. not even 2 months, place busted!

verdict: similar as pinky, fits both reasons A + B i've mentioned above.

In this case with Pinky, i dont think pooners sharing info openly about contacts on here leadPinky's demise. one person, living near there on williams road, commented on the first page that it was the neighbours who got suspicious due to the heavy amount of noise, cars, traffic of people during the day and evening (up to 2 a.m. which is standard for micros.) unike other micros which are in most cases condos or apartment suite, pinky's micro was a residential house. this obviously is going to attract attention more than suites because they are bigger and more open with outsiders being able to encounter the visibility of pooner traffic.

look at dereks spot, bystanders and nearby residents cannot figure out what is going in his suite because

1.there is no sign of heavy traffic of vehicles driving in and out within the front lawns.
2. no pooners be seen walking towards their front entrance through a gate at specific address of a home
3. there no neighbourhood view of the exterior look of the house, seeing the owners drive off, how many live there, wheres the kids, who throws the garbage.
4. there is no outdoor verbal shouting or screaming or even noise occuring
Exactly. That's why I'm in an apartment building on a busy street. Nothing but drug dealers, foreign students and the odd illegal escort agency in my building. Been here for over two years.
