Used to see a guy at the gym some years ago who could bench press 400 lbs. Don’t recall seeing anybody else do that in the years I went there. He was in the RCMP and got transferred to northern Alberta not too long after I got to know him.

I used to be able to do 320, but it required a lot of specific work. There was a detailed program online for doing six plate benches.

I was at the ymca on South Osborne with a friend around 2010 when she pointed out two dodgy looking chubby guys came in. They didn’t change into workout clothes, just went right to a flat bench and loaded up the bar.
We thought wtf they had three 45s each side and a 10.
One guy gets under and I thought FUCK he’s going to kill himself!
And he did a perfect rep.
Then they left. Must have been a bet or something.

Six plates was the goal for a lot of guys back in the day. With tren everywhere it’s not much of an accomplishment nowadays.

I used to be able to eat whatever I want, not work out, and still have ab definition. Those days are behind me. But I still eat what I want, do minor exercise daily (dog walks and daily stretching) and hit the gym for weights once or twice a week and people always say to me that I must work out a lot. I’m a really healthy eater these days but I do enjoy sweet things too often.

Genetics plays a huge part in our makeup. I’m a little bit smart, a little bit dumb, and always slim and curvy with muscle tone.🤪

Once you get on the 'fitness" journey it becomes pretty addictive. in particular the sleep quality. Its 80% diet and sleep afterall but lifting is the key to round it all out.
And sex!

Hard work for the men? Or for you, the one with the strapon?
I was talking about men thrusting during sex with a woman (doggie or missionary), being good for the abs.

Regular walks and hikes with some hills does the trick quite well along with landscaping, gardening and some hard work, I never wanted to waste my time, energy and joints working out in a gym so I find useful projects to do that make me sweat.

Yes I know. When I’m wearing a strap on, either with a woman or a man, then I’m the one doing the thrusting and it’s a great work out for the abs! Some men want a gentle pegging experience, others want deeper, harder, faster, bigger!!

Depression and mentality aside, having higher levels of muscle mass has a strong connection to better glucose tolerance, an indicator of diabetes risk. Also better performance in the sack is a bonus. Better body composition if you're looking to style. Regularly weight training has been proven to lead to better health outcomes so it can't hurt to do it regardless of how you feel about lifting.

Just from my experience, being in the gym, getting that pump and I turn feral afterwards. I'm just way too amped. My baseline T-levels are high even without working out and after going through weight training for a while, say a 6-12 month period, my insides go stir crazy if I can't get action every day. Going for a run and being in a bodyweight regimen is much more manageable for my constitution with a visit to the gym twice every other week.

I started following the training methods of Mike Mentzer quite a few years ago with two keys, train to failure and build in rest days of at least 3 days between workouts. I started adding mass in a few months and now in my 70's am that fit old fucker you see in the gym.

That and anyone in their 40's and older put creatine at a proper dose level, no more but regular into the regime. Allows the muscles to retain hydration better which in turn has multiples of benefits.

At this point in life, my tongue gets a bigger workout than my abs. No one has complained yet.

Whatever gets you ready and steady to fuck my brains out with all you've got 💦 You'd be surprised the level of muscle and fuck-ability people have with varying body builds.

I've been told by many clients that fucking me makes them want to work out more, particularly to further build stamina 😇 So maybe it's worth investing extra time into that~

I think it comes down to a healthy mindset and belief that your body deserves to be taken care of, and your playtime partners well-fucked 🩵 Where there's a will, there's a sizzling hot way 🔥🥵

I used to go really hard when I was younger but after going through several sports injuries & being a bit older now I find by going medium / moderate,

A : I’m more consistent , meaning its rare for me to miss even one single scheduled day per yr but 2 missed days per yr would be tops ( still rare )
B : I am able to fast for much longer periods of time which aligns more w my current health goals
