How can I cut out the heads of people in a picture and replace it with, let's say a generic happy face picture or a picture of a celebrity? I tried the photo editor in Office and it allows you to cut a box but not the shape of the head. And sizing is also an issue. Any help would be appreciated.

It is version 2.0. I think it is part of the Adobe package that came pre-loaded with my computer.

current version of PS for the PC is 9.0. Which I run :D

Have your pic in PS and take your smiley face and just drag and drop it onto your pic. This will add a layer. When you click on the basic curser arrow in the left hand floating tool bar you will see some check box in the top tool bar that reads "show transform controls" tick it.

Resize your smiley and position it where you want it.

Sorry I suck at instructions.

PS: if you do alot of e-mailing digital photos get familiar with the "save for web" option in PS. It kicks ass.

in my opinion

The 2.0 starter edition that comes with your pc is a WOT.

It doesn't do much.. I've tried working with it before. I prefer Photo Impression 4

I think I got it free somewhere.. lol I don't remember where I got it from, but it's great

I have been playing with it for a bit. I took this one pic of myself, where my hair was pulled back in a ponytail, but it was wet and didn't look cute.

I cut out my hair from a different pic (where it looked cute), resized it and pasted it onto the pic with bad hair. It was funny. Can't really tell it's doctored up.

But when you go to paste it into a target picture, it pastes a rectangle with the unselected parts being white. I guess there I can't actually just paste the cut out then?
