Phone vs Email or Both?

I'm wondering if I should start posting a phone number along with my email address.

What method of contact do clients prefer and why?

I've almost exclusively used email over the past 5ish years with a specific email address dedicated to contacting SP's. I've always felt the most comfortable with this setup as it felt more secure to me, which may or may not be the case. It's limited who I can see as there are a number of ladies that do not deal through email, but that's just something I live with.

I would imagine the majority of people seeing SP's use text from either their own phone or a burner phone so from a business standpoint it's probably not a terrible idea to list a phone number.

Texting for spontaneous/same day bookings, or for contacting on the "day of event" after booking.

Email is more useful the further in the future the booking is (24 hours or more). Email might also work better for some kinds of deposit-sending.

Both are legit. For me.... Email first then phone.

Perhaps specify the phone number is for texts only to avoid the heavy breathers? Unless you want to speak to a perspective client (I know some ladies do as part of their screening)

I find email to book and ask questions works, and then text upon arrival and directions etc… work fine.

I simply don't answer phone calls. Not interested in guys jerking off for free to my voice 😂 My settings auto-block the calls so I get the a notification that they've called, but it doesn't actually ring for me.

I prefer emails for guys that plan ahead, and if they're emailing about a short-notice booking, I definitely don't mind a quick 'Hi Ruby, I sent you an email about booking tonight' text.

I've used primarily text messages. Simple, and to the point.

I use email to set up things, it allows for more detail and planning, phone on the day off. Once or twice I've used phone first when it's shorter notice (a few days to a week as some SP might not look at their email some days.)

I too really prefer email. The damn keyboards on the cell phones are so small they (plus autocorrect) are prone to spelling mistakes. I NEED to take the time and compose a proper introductory email, with all the details included in one letter.

I book way ahead usually and always include a bit of a blurb about myself as an intro along with any questions, so I prefer email for convenience, clarity and anonymity.

Email is the most convenient for me to ask questions prior to booking because I can receive a response any time. Most discreet, makes for better comms when not rushed.
also I can receive unsolicited communications on email

Text less discrete, but good for same day comms and receiving buzz instructions etc
