I agree with both of you.
I live walking distance from there so my friend and I went to try them out one weekday afternoon last year.
The front door was locked when we arrived so we knocked and waited.
When the lady opened the door, there was no greeting; all she said was "Yes?"
My friend told her that we were there for a massage.
The lady replied with "You pay first!"
My friend then asked to see the lineup.
The lady's response was "No! You pay first. I bring girl to you."
I said "Sorry, we're not paying unless we get to see the lineup so we can choose the girl we want."
I even showed her some cash and told her that we weren't going to waste her time.
She said again "No! You pay first!"
By now, she was getting louder and irritated/angry.
My friend and I said to forget it then because we wanted to see the lineup but she wouldn't let us.
As we were walking away, she said "What? You no stay?"
I said "Sorry, you won't let us see the girls so we're going somewhere else."
She just stood there with the door open until we crossed the street before she went back inside.
I speculate that she thought we were bluffing when we started walking away.
Anyways, neither my friend nor I have ever even attempted to go back there since.
For the record, I am a middle aged CBC and my friend is a middle aged Caucasian.
