He should be brought back because it doesn't appear that he has broken any of the rules.
he hasn't posted publicly private information about anyone, he hasn't been fighting, he doesn't have multiple handles, and as far as I know he wasn't warned. So WTF ... There is no reason for the banning. If there is, then the mod that banned him should step forward and explain, so the rest of us ignorant pooners don't fall afoul of the same arbitrary and apparently capricious treatment!

Since everybody appreciates openess. The reason he was banned was because of an SP attack. Lets just put it that way. End of discussion it was fair in the minds of most mods, and probably the right decision to protect the ladies. I personally didn't ban him, but it is irrelevant who did as we are all in agreement i believe. We issued a warning and we followed up on it. Just please do not use this board to attack SPs. End of discussion. I am closing this thread because i know it will get flamed. If you want to talk just PM me. Take it easy boys. It is not the end of the world, nor is it an opression of free speech. It is more just for the protection of the ladies, who we should respect as they give us great happiness. Sorry it had to happen, but we have to draw the line here or else we won't have any ladies on the board an that would be bad

I know Phoenix and don't believe for a second that he would ever hurt anyone as stated by Edmonton Mod. I know this man personally and he is of no such character. This is unbelievable, I'm shocked and appalled at these statements and would like to know where they stem from. I'm just curious, was the "attack" one of Phoenix's special tongue-planted-firmly-in-cheek posts? Did it include a picture of a rubber glove? Was it against the ever more popular DB?
If it was any/all of the above, have the mods been following the posts? Have they not noticed that DB is relishing the attention, and actually claims it has helped her business? So, if that is the actual fact, an attack on DB is actually aiding her business!?!

The ladies are the ones who pay the bills around here so if they want you gone you're gone. Don't get into a pm flame war with one of them because you'll end up being banned over some weak joke.
The MOD has spoken. It looks like unhappy poons who post here must be on thin ice at the best of times. On the one hand this board is presented as a review board for the use of poons and on another side is financed by ladies that choose to advertise here.
I have said before on this board that it can be really difficult writing a negative review. Any negative review is likely going to get someone mad. What happened to Phoenix just makes the task of posting and commenting even more difficult for the rest of us because we simply don't know where the line was drawn. I would suggest that the MODS do the board a service and clearly define the line so none of us cross it and the board becomes more useful to everyone. It won't be the end of my world (or even remotely close to it) if I get banned for being honest.
Believing that the MODS banned Phoenix for a post on the DB post I will continue to comment that the SP service was obviously a rip off and the back and forth comments between her and Avery on the thread confirms it. She was not forthcoming before money changed hands and had a lot of time apparently to give the poon his choice. Her unusual list of don'ts may be normal for her but it was obviously a surprise to the poons that post here and a huge dissappointment to Avery.

This board will not be the same, without Phoenix and Chronic. Those 2 always added much needed humour when things would get too intense.
Oh my gosh, will I miss Chronic's constant joking about his micro-dick. And my all time favorite from Phoenix was when he said that Quimby was his favorite pooner. Well hopefully at some point they will be allowed back.

Kinda makes you leary about what the hell we post. What happened to freedom of speech and expression? I feel that perb will lose some of its value because of this. If someone posts something too offensive, then just delete the posting. What are the rules exactly and how much and what kind of warning does a poster get?

The banning of Phoenix must surely relate to comments he made in the Divine Brown thread, but I don't understand something. The Mod edited two of Phoenix's posts there, and also one of Divine's. Were his posts somehow more offensive than hers? Was he warned first, and then ignored the warning?
It's well known that the TERB family of boards are a for-profit business owned by Fred Zed. Advertisers are given more privileges than other posters, and, in some instances, can have posts deleted or request a no-review policy (it has to be all reviews, not just negative ones). No matter how much anyone complains, that's not likely to change. However, Divine is not an advertiser here. So, what gives? (The moderators on MERB are far more tolerant of minor transgressions than those on TERB and now,it seems, PERB).
Now, Chronic has been banned too. WTF is going on? It's all very well for the Mods to say their decision is final, but when they ban prominent members, detailed explanations should be forthcoming. I doubt that either of these guys posted personal info about the ladies, which is clearly grounds for banning.
I don't have a problem with protecting the ladies (or other posters for that matter) from unwarranted personal attacks, but we're all big boys and girls here, aren't we? Surely we can handle a little flak without running crying to Mommy.

As someone who was involved in the orginal thread and also asked the mods to remove her 2nd post I feel I should comment on what is going on.
I read the thread and have talked to Divine about what has been going on. A few phone converstations. I do belive when she posted about being dirty,fat,crater face blah blah blah she was intending to direct it at myself. Even though the truth of those comments are not true I do know she made the same amount of money she claimed while she was here. AS I told her on the phone I belive her reaction was to "get me" and when finding out later that I only said she wore rubber gloves she decided to change her tune because she felt bad.
I dont belive anything the banned posters had said was as bad as her 2nd post. Ment for me or not I belive that it crossed the line.
There is no reason for me to be involved in this anymore after this post, I just wanted to post this because I know some of the posts that are of concern are also a reaction to her second post which MAY OR MAY NOT have been directed to me.
Best of luck everyone on sorting this out, I hope the band posters can return and there is some sorta mutual understanding where a person can voice there opinion and be mature enough to bite your lip when it comes to posting personal attacks.

You guys are hilarious, talking about freedom of speech and effectiveness. Bottom line freedom of speech doesn 't apply here, it is a privately owned board. Effectiveness is also a nonissue; regardless of how amusing chronic is/was, this boards goal is to make money from SPs buy providing information to clients. As clients, this board is just too easy a source of information to NOT use it. We will always check it, just like we check EC, theredzone, the Uptown, etc. The fact that this is also a source of amusement for us is absolutely irrelevant. EC is not very amusing but I bet you it earns more cash than this site and we certainly don 't avoid it because it doesn 't allow us to have our say.
Basically, it appears the mods have decided that chronics activities were not aligned with the goals of the board and nothing was to be gained by tolerating his activities and there would be no significant loss if he were banned.
The moderators probably read our delusional conversations of democracy as a source of their amusement.
