Why not give them a 30 day sentence and bring them back on probation?? This is a small market and we can't afford to loose people who contibute for years and then slip up with the board once and are gone?
I don't know if I'm being a little out of line here being a Newbie and all. With the search I've been able to do, Chronic sounds like an egotistical, self centered guy with a small penis and a bad attitude. As for Phoenix ....he gets my vote!
Upon further reflection, I agree with the newbie. Phoenix was definitely an asset to the board, Chronic was only 3/5's as much.Absorbable said:

lol- I knew that was coming- I make a valid point- saying you have to treat all people the same 1 post or 1000 posts- I make no attack on anyone- I just said I wonder how people can make sound judgments when they don't know the reason why they were banned

Personally I'd need to see what they wrote to get banned first. If it is bad and they were warned about it and then did it again then the hell with them
I don't know if they should have been banned or not because we have received very little information on the reason for the banning. I guess that's at the mods discretion. But what is disturbing is that this board is a type of community and with any community there is the good the bad and the ugly . And there are rules that the community abides by. But there has to be responsibility on the part of the leaders of the community to keep the community informed. If someone has been banished from the community the rest of the community has the right to know why! When someone is placed in a position of power it is important that that person (1) take responsibility; (2) be accountable; (3) communicate. IMHO!

Unless I missed something, Phoenix only attacked Divine Brown, and his "attacks" were pretty mild. The Mod edited his posts, and also edited one in which Divine attacked Phoenix. Those actions seem sufficient to me.Edmonton Mod said:
