Hello PERB!

I will be traveling to Victoria for the Vikings exhibit at the beginning of June. I will have BB and Mr Fuzzums with me, so I need a pet friendly suite. I need some info so I can make plans for traveling and workin dates! Could some Victoria ladies PM to let me figure out what is what...?

Many thanks

YES!

(And yes, gentlemen, if you are geeks like me, and would love to take me to the Museum as foreplay, or Butchart Gardens, or Whale Watching, or any other such activity in the Capitol Regional District during my mini tour, IT'S ON! <3

And now, the Vikings! The RBCM is sponsoring an exhibition of Viking artificacts and interactive exhibits about how they lived, traded, sailed and worhiped, among other things. MANY of these items have never been seen before outside of Scandinavia. They include jewelery, tools, coins, household items, and insights into the religious symbology in their ships. It opens mid-May, and I don't want to travel over the long weekend. (I do, however, love the Victoria Day Parade, because I LOVE pipe bands! :D) So I will probably want to be in Victoria around late May - early June. I am hoping to stay close to a week...if I receive enough interest! :D (Would I go to the exhibit more than once? HELL YES! :D)

Somehow I had missed the information about the Viking exhibit. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I expect to be in Victoria for part of May so I'll make a point of seeing it, now that I know about it.

Obviously, I am a Vikings nut too. My family's heritage is officially Irish/Scots/English, but a few years ago, my dad developed a certain condition that only occurs in people Scandinavian heritage. Thus, sneaky Vikings in the family woodpile somewhere! I was watching "vikings" until quite recently, but it's become a bit of a soap opera lately...less sweaty sex and whispered conversations about sex, and more slashing, hacking and ritual sacrifices please...

We had a good Welsh friend who was over 6 ft tall. We kidded him that he came to Canada because he was too big to fit into the coal mines in Wales. His explanation for his size was that when the Vikings "toured" European waters, they also did a wee bit of fornicating.

BB is half Swedish, all Viking. He likes to say that 'his people' are the reason Scotsmen can stand upright.

I tell him their Scots blood is what makes them so good-looking!
