Unless you live with, or have lived with a woman, very few of us give any thought about periods. SP's are usually good about taking precautions, or time off during those days.

A few weeks ago I was going down on an SP, and she tasted a bit off, but no biggie, everyone tastes a bit different. After we finished FS, I noticed quite a bit of red on the end of the condom. Yup, she was having he period. She seemed indifferent, and said it probably just started because of the thrusting. I wasn't freaked out, but I was a bit unnerved. A - for her not mentioning it might be her time. B - For not taking any steps if she knew it was near her time. C - Because ingesting blood is not on my list of things I want from an SP, or any woman.

I've never been squeamish about having sex during a period, but wasn't expecting to get my red wings.

I often ask about how often an SP is tested. Maybe I should start asking about periods.

When it’s something that effects 1/4 of each month for most ladies, it makes sense why many would say nothing and work.
I will openly tell clients so they can change extras (if desired) or reschedule altogether. A couple of my clients love that time period.
Your body, your choice.

I saw a lady today and she gave me a heads up beforehand that her period had just ended but there was a chance there might be a little residual. I appreciated the heads-up and skipped daty today. No desire to get my red-wings lol.
Always been curious about trying sex during that time but it’s probably a one and done item…too bad @TheBellaRoseXo doesn’t come to Vancouver lol

Some women are more fun during their monthly friend's visit. They are hornier than usual for sure. To each of their own but put a couple bath towels down and Bob's your uncle! As far as DATY during period goes, I once did it on my ex-gf without knowing it was her friend's time. She didn't know it either because she just finished her period a couple days ago but a couple rounds of good doggie brought her back I was told! LOL... No biggie.. one thing off the list that I have been there and done that though not intentionally. ;)

I have gotten my red wings a few times, not with SPs though, and none of them were voluntary... it was a surprise to me and not in a good way.

Even with a rubber, I hate finding residual blood that leaks down to the sack and taint and inner thighs. I would prefer an SP tell me so I could reschedule, and they have, so its never been an issue.

Wow! Memories. Decades ago I involuntarily obtained my red wings. We were both pretty inexperienced and she didn't know she was that close. Everything happened in semi-darkness (we were at her parents place) and after a while I had to go to the washroom. I looked like an extra in Friday The 13th! When I went back to her room to let her know she said "I know. I'm so sorry." She was mortified, but I told he not to worry about it and just shrugged it off as a learning experience.

My initiation into this was the weirdest timing ever. I was going down on one of my ATFs, noticed a strange taste and consistency all of a sudden and then she squirted. Turns out I was tasting the first bits of her period. And then she squirted. I was covered in squirt, and blood, and got a little weirded out. She was horrified and so embarrassed. We chuckle about it now

This conversation comes up really often. Sorry if this is a turn off but I will educate some of you guys. I have gotten into an argument on Merb about this and he wasn't listening.

Yes, period blood can carry more risks. That is one of the risks of DATY with SP. DATY is not a safe service.. You can catch a bunch of STI's from it. The difference with blood is that some STI are transmitted by blood. Most of us get tested very often. I don't know every SP in the world but most ppl I know who are escorts get tested once a month. Many are on Prep, myself included. Even if I'm on Prep, a client could have gonorrhea or chlamydia in his throat and give it to me, and I could give it to another client the next day. Yes, it's rare, but it still happens. So remember that DATY and BBBJ are not 100% safe services even if many of you want to ignore the risks. I am saying that with love. 💗 Take care of yourselves, get tested too.

I want to talk about how periods work because it seems that a lot of men are completely oblivious to it, which is kinda funny since we are in 2026. I don't know any woman who can predict a specific day and time that she will get her period. For example, according to certain sources, for women between the ages of 25 and 40, a regular period can vary by 7 days. Meaning it will still be considered regular even if you get it 5 days later than you did last month. For a woman who's younger than 25 or older than 40, the margin is even wider. That corresponds to what I've also been told when I was dealing with hormonal problems when I was younger.

A bunch of things can make your period late or can make your cycle wonky. Hormonal problems, stress, new medication, significant weight loss or gain, other health issues etc it can all change your menstrual pattern. That means a sex worker cannot predict the day her period will come. Yes, it can start during an appointment with a client, without much notice. Some women get a lot of premenstrual symptoms like heavy cramps and bloating and other things that tell them "ah, I'm about to get my period", some don't. Sometimes it varies from cycle to cycle. Even if you do get those symptoms, sometimes they can last a long time, and they can still not indicate when you will actually start bleeding.

Boys, if you decide to be sexually active with girls, you have to be prepared to the eventuality that maybe one of them will get her period during sex at some point. lol. Having sex can even trigger the beginning of a period. This is something that happens from time to time. 😅

Okay let's talk about escorting and periods. Many SP skip work during their periods. Some skip days with heavier flow. Some work the whole time. It all depends, some people have really long lasting periods and they can't take work off for 6-7 days.. It's a lot of missed work. What most SP do is they use sponges that absorb the blood. They clean up and insert it before seeing a client. It's not common to have "blood accidents" if you're using the sponge unless your period is really heavy. But still, like I said, nobody can predict when they will get their periods.. I've seen bad reviews of women who got their periods suddenly during a booking and the client was disgusted but it's literally not her fault. Particularly if the SP works at a parlor or an agency it can really happen without notice.

Hope that helped!

It's common to have irregular periods, which is possibly why she wouldn't have known to tell you prior to that. It's not a big deal. Tasting different can happen, perios or not doesn't mean you tasted her blood.

Some women can go for several weeks and even surpass an entire month experiencing spotting, due to taking new birth control. It can happen unexpectedly. While there's are risks for STI from blood, the chances of the SP in question having anything is low.

The human body is unpredictable.

While this is in no way the same thing at all, but sometimes no matter how much of a dietary change is made, preparation, and cleaning, shit can still happen during Greek. Not that this is in any way the same thing at all.

Educate yourself, be safe, and enjoy out there!

The only caveat I'll include is most of us guys aren't really thinking about periods. If you're in a relationship then obviously it's going to come up; but single guys? Generaly not on the radar. To be fair, how many women go around thinking about prostates; not many. So I feel that us guys being "oblivious to it" is pretty much 'normal' as it usually isn't a part of our lives. I would say that the majority of the ladies in this industry are very much aware of the timing etc. as it can impact their earning power and probably more guys who engage in this activity are a bit more aware as it may impact the session and/or their health.
