Pepsi vs Coke

pepsi.. I especially find if I use it for mixing drings it doesnt taste nearly as flat tasting as coke
It's a completely different taste... coke has SO MUCH more sugar and I think caffeine too... coke is undeniably better when u haven't had a cola for a long time, but I'd rather drink pepsi over a longer period of time and more of it... with coke, any more than 1 cup and your teeth start to rot and literally get loose... I mean, when WD-40 doesn't get a rusted bolt loose, guess what mechanics recommend in a pinch? You got it... COKE... makes u wonder what's in it eh?shak said:

Nothing can taste worse than the semi room temp Vodka and no name diet cola my neighbour gave me once. I had to choke down every sip.

well, rc cola is very easy to find in my neck of the woods in Canada, mainly because i shop at a local, non-corporation owned grocery store, so rc cola is always 99cents per 2 litre compared to 1.99 for coke/pepsi, so I naturally pick rc because I can't tell the diff. However, I used to pick coke over pepsi (coke: vanilla-based syrup versus pepsi with a citrus-based syrup...I don't like citrus-undertoned drinks), but I saw the movie "The Corporation", and found out that during the Nazi regime of Germany with the incarceration/extermination of the jewish peoples and others, coca cola saw this as an opportunity to create more money for their company by producing a drink called "Fanta Orange", marketed as the "liberation soldier's drink"...this was a drink specifically targeted to capture Nazi Germany's interest and money, and this was coca cola's response to the genocide of that time. So...f--k you, coca cola....will pick pepsi over it any day, even though I don't prefer it.
Just me and my 2cents...(plus bottle deposit).

I very much prefer coke over pepsi, but I mostly drink diet pop and I prefer diet pepsi over diet coke. Not sure why, but these are my preferences.
Anybody remember the Pepsi Challenge back in the 80's? The blind taste test to find out which tasted better, Coke or Pepsi? Most people I talked to who took the test couldn't tell the difference between the two.
Personally, I prefer Dr. Pepper, once I remove most of the carbonation, and especially in slurpees.

ok. i like coke better than pepsi, BUT i like diet pepsi better than diet coke. for some reason, all types of cola taste different to me.
Its like if you're at a movie or getting a burger and you ask for a Coke and they say "Is Pepsi okay?" 99% of the population answers "whatever"
