Penhold Has Temporarily Left the Building

Something has caused my userid of Penhold and password to no longer work since the upgrade.

Perhaps my userid did not like the new colour scheme and simply left for some fresh air.

I've emailed and PM'd the mods and Fred Zed and am waiting to see how to log back in. If you PM'd Penhold and are waiting for a reply, don't hold your breath.

I had a similar problem, and after a few days, simply acted as though I (rather than the system) had forgotten my password. I then reset the temporary password to the original one, and now all is well.

But if you can't log in, how did you mange to post this note?

Someone tried to log in my username five times in a row without success. I got a warning e-mail forwarded to my e-mail address.

Can't do this as the old email address I used to originally log in as Penhold has long since disappeared. I had a hell of a time trying to set up a PERB account as all email addresses I had rejected/blocked the auto-responses from PERB. I set up a temporary account on Yahoo and MSN but they kept getting spammed like crazy and eventually that email address got zapped by MSN.

I've been emailing and PMing Fred Zed and the moderators to try to get this rectified.

Instead of helping me get Penhold restored, they keep sending me emails re-setting the password for Penhold99. That doesn't do anything to address the problem. I would like to get Penhold restored and then delete Penhold99.
