It's expensive. You can't just buy the day you want. you have to take all three and get the wrist band.

But..... HOW would you ever choose WHICH day to buy a ticket for??? It's like...impossible to do, no?

IMO - $250 for 3 days and ALL of these acts...... is a steal!
Imagine if you had to pay to see them separately? What? You'd get to see 3-4 (if even that many!) for that price?!


Hmm. About the VIP package..
I haven't read the details yet, but I'm curious what the 'VIP" price (double, I think) entitles you to?... Hmmm.. I'm going to look into it... I'm thinking VIP might be the way to go.... NO DOUBT we are VIP, Alize!

From Squamish through to Pemberton (amazing organic farms out Pemberton way BTW) is one of the most beautiful places on earth IMHO. I've never been to the festival but hear it's a spendid bash. As long as the weather holds, you'll likely have a blast. Give us your review if you go, please.

Personally I'm holding out for Burning Man.

The big bummer is it is a DRY concert or festival.
can you see yourself spending 3 days in the hot sun and dust , bbq,etc. and NO BEER?

You're kidding, right??!! Like, dry as in no SALES on-site..?.. or dry as in alcohol not PERMITTED at all on-site? What the hell is that about??

ok! FIRST I end up in a strip club without any alcohol (I'm not even mentioning the part where there are no contact dances either), THEN I find out they stop serving alcohol on patios at 11pm and they make you sit INSIDE in the middle of summer! IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH.. when I went to see Bjork last summer I found out you actually need to go to a 'special' area to get a drink and have to stay there to drink it (and it freakin' closed before she even started the show!)...

And NOW a freaking outdoors 3day music festival without any alcohol? Sorry I'm not impressed by this. How lame!...

I'm by no means a big drinker, but I'm very sorry, I've got to say this is ALL wrong!.... This province has got it all so horribly wrong!

Sheesh. Always all these stupid rules! Shove your dumb rules, I say. lol
You need some serious lessons on how to just enjoy life and forget the stupid rules once in a while.... in Montreal.

I'm serious... Why SO uptight, I don't get it? Ugh. How lame.

haaha that is a classic! I love it... I'm not even into hip hop except some of the old school stuff..... but I like Jay Z.
I'm certainly curious about seeing him live at a non-strickly hip hop venue.

I think the deal is that you can't bring in outside liquor but it clearly states on their website that:

"The Festival Village will have a variety of great food available from 11:00 AM through 2:00 AM daily along with numerous bars serving all types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages."
