Partnered men who travel for sex... how do you get away with it?

That is, what excuse do you use to spend weeks away from your live-in SO?

Do you tell them it's a business trip?

Do you tell them where you're going, or do you lie? I imagine it'd be more-than-a-bit suspicious to be sent on a business trip to Thailand, especially if you work in an industry that doesn't even exist there.

If you do lie, how do you not get caught in that lie? What happens if they want to video call you? What happens if they ask to see your tourist pictures of the place you went to?

Getting away with pleasure travel depends on many factors.

1. How trustworthy your partner/wife is.
2. How long/far you are going?
3. How good you are at lying and covering your tracks.
4. Whether you are prepared to take the lie to the end.

You need to have all 4 factors in your favor to get away with it. With a past relationship, I had a very trustworthy girl who didn't check up on me overseas, and I regularly travelled so it wasn't an issue.

Business Trip to Thailand? I wouldn't say that unless you fear she will check your passport. Do you have a work friend you can use to help cover for you. Maybe tell her you are going to Hong Kong and sneak off to Thailand she wants to Video Call you? Well don't pick up unless you are alone in your hotel. The time difference will deter much of that. Or have planned calls that work with the time difference.

I would also say if you haven't done this before, and before going to Thailand for a 2 week trip, try going somewhere close/short and with a believable story and see how that goes (i.e. Vegas for a bachelor party, or San Diego Tijuana for a short business trip). Once you have this under your belt you won't be so worried about other longer trips
