French culture is different to say the least when the two French writers of the computer game " life is strange" Wrote the script originally They had the main female character kiss her good plutonic male friend . But when they got a United states writer he explained to them that kissing in America had a different meaning. So she ended up hugging The male friend The story was rewritten with kissing taking on the symbolic meaning of a sexual relationship that we have in the united states and Canada . Province of Quebec excluded of course . Mind you not every thing is sunshine and roses about French culture . They sell small whips their in supermarkets next to the pet supply's called martinets That can be carried in a wife's purse or a husbands coat pocket . these are to be used on your kids if they get out of line .
