Great pic!

I know just where it was taken! Just north of Notre Dame, across the Rue du Cloitre Notre Dame. Taken from the top of one of those buildings with the cheesy tourist shops on the ground floor. I think one has a little hotel andalso one has a little church office? The left hand most edge of the pic is looking at Ile St Louis.

Whenever I go to Paris I stay in a little hotel at 70 Rue St Louis-en-L'ile. It is just a stone's throw from where this pic was taken across the Pont St Louis.

Crap! Now I know where I want to go on holiday this Spring!

Great picture

was watching House Hunters the other day, they now have an international addition and a dude was looking for a compact 1 bedroom apartment in Paris, holy shit he finally found one he liked , it was in an okay area of Paris not the most trendy area by far, this tiny little cubbyhole off a dirty looking back street was $950,000 USD

They walked you through the apartment after he moved in , it was very small, bathroom was like a closet and the bedroom wasn't much bigger

Beautiful Pic!

I lived about 5 minutes from here for 3 months in '81. In a $9 / night dingy little hotel room in the Latin Quarter. Great summer in a great city!
